- Mitsubishi changed quite a few things on the new, facelifted 2022 Mtisubishi Xpander. It gets an updated exterior and a reworked suspension. Is it better than MPVs like the Toyota avanza and veloz?

Armrest and LED headlights are definitely an improvement
Nasa 225mm ground clearance ng NEW XPANDER kaya kayang kaya niya katulad na siya ng ground clearance ng Ford Everest sigurado ako yung 190mm ground clearance ng AVANZA at VELOZ sasayad diyan.
This is for me the selling point, the traction control, it's there when you need it

Depende sa lugar, kung lugar mo malubak, matataas ang hamps, at binabaha, baka masiraan ka at magstay na lang sa interior ng Veloz at mag wait ng hihila, tapos tinititigan ka ng driver ng Xpander kasi nakaraan hahaha
Tsaka Engine wise si Xpander kasi A/T mas malakas hatak at pangmatagalan. Fuel Efficient naman si Veloz kasi CVT, pero poor sa long run.

As an XP GLS 2023 owner, the xpander head unit is terrible. UI is so meh. Android auto and carplay is meh -- having issues with connectability with other units/phones. If you have XIAOMI or other Chinese phones, it have a greater chance of not being able to pair(help even iPhone have issues or having a hard time connecting it). I will replace my head unit soon.
SEATS is also MEH... The material definitely need to change to leather. I wish they had made the same seat as Cross have(leather).
Xpander is same category as the Toyota Rush.

Kun kaya ng Adventure, Crosswind at Sportivo na nasa 80+ horsepower lang lalo na tong mga bagong MPV gaya ng XPANDER na nasa 100+ horsepower na..and take note mas mabigat ang mga lumang adventure, crosswind at sportivo at hindi lng 7 seater kayang isakay pero kaya eto pa kaya

@@justinecasi350 usually nagtatanong ng mga ganyan displacement lang alam sa sasakyan mas malaki mas malakas sa kanila lumang pag iisip na yan.. Yung 2.0 nga ng ranger ngayon nasa 210 Horsepower yun mas malakas kaysa lumang 2.5 at 3.2 nila na makina

Do you really think it can Out Power an MPV like the XPANDER with lower curb weight and a GASOLINE ENGINE with 100+Horsepower and 140+nm of Torque? hehehe
The strong weapon of xpander or xpandercross is only the Ground clearance…but the price point and and the safety tech is underrated…aesthetic over safety I will not compromise the safety of my Family..” 2 airbags. Vs. 6airbags. Plus the Toyota Safety sense…what else u can ask for?

Mitsubishi's test track could've focused more on things people would actually want to see in an MPV, like suspension comfort, nvh tests, body roll tests, etc etc. Don't get me wrong, this test track is cool and all but it seems unneccessary for an MPV like this.
i drove the Strada Athlete sa last day ng test tracks ng Mitsubishi. it suits much better pati yung Montero, it just doesn't feel right to test the Xpander at the same course like the Strada and the Montero, but they did.
Well if you really see it that way, then, it will really be uneccessary.
Ive tried the xpander in those tracks, i experienced the suspension comfort. Damn, theyre great. NVH? While waiting for our turn, the xpander were bombarded with loud music from the speakers and i faintly hear the music. Body roll? You can try them in the track like what i did.
The track tested the limit of the xpander for an ordinary person.
Isn't that the point of this track though? To test out the things you pointed out.
Agree. I dont believe the vehicle is meant for all off road conditions. It is after all an automatic and 1.5 CVT? A good addition would be a safety feature like Eyesight in Subaru, TSS in Toyotas, and HSS in Hondas

Sir, even Mitsubishi said this was only a facelift mode since 2018 pa lang lumabas ang current gen unlike the Avanza and Veloz na since 2011 pa ang platform and overdue na for a new model 2 years ago.

Also to add, di "ilaw" lang ang nabago sa Xpander. This can actually be considered as a heavy facelift sa dami ng mga binago din.
@@MiggyMndza kung titignan ng maige ang new Xpander, design lang talaga ng ilaw ang nabago, the rest is ganun pa din, just like the Rush GR-Sport na garnish lang din sa foglamp ang nabago.

This one's face and rear end has been completely revised which people mistakenly think it isn't since same design language pa din gamit. The interior is also revamped to give better comfort through the soft-touch leather pads all around it and compared to the Veloz's ambient lighting and next to unnecessary wireless charger, that's definitely more useful for anyone who'll ride inside the Xpander.
And as Van Tom said, you can't really dis the improved suspension and ground clearance lalo na dito sa Pinas. Especially when loaded, goodluck na lang talaga with the two 'yotas.

There is absolutely no leather in that car; it's vinyl, vinyl can be soft or hard. Real leather is quite expensive

Kung gusto mo ng extreme uphill at nag xpander, avanza, veloz or sedan ka eh ang tanga2 mona at d kapa bumili ng 4x4 pickup.
