20240612 - South East Atlantic Cotton Compress Water Tower (Atlanta)

Built in 1906 as part of the South East Atlantic Cotton Compress Warehouses to store water. The factories are now gone or converted to residential or mixed-use, but this concrete cylinder still rises 100 feet in the air casting a historic shadow over bustling neighborhood bordering the Atlanta Beltline. At its base is a small park and private community garden.
