A remnant of the Pleistocene Lake Bonneville, it is the largest of many salt flats west of the Great Salt Lake at 12 miles (19 km) long and 5 miles (8 km) wide, with a crust almost 5 ft. Land speed records and Land speed racing records have been set many times on the Bonneville Salt Flats.

Strawberry River's headwaters is located in the Wasatch Mountains of the western Uintah Basin. The river flows south into Strawberry Reservoir, then through Soldier Creek Dam.

The Strategic Air Command & Aerospace Museum is a museum focusing on aircraft and nuclear missiles of the United States Air Force during the Cold War. It is located near Ashland, Nebraska, along Interstate 80 southwest of Omaha. The objective of the museum is to preserve and display historic aircraft, missiles, and space vehicles, and provide educational resources.

Located on the banks of the Missouri River in St. Louis, this 630-foot-tall (192 m) is clad in stainless steel and built in the form of a weighted catenary arch, it is the world's tallest arch and Missouri's tallest accessible structure. Built in 1906 as part of the South East Atlantic Cotton Compress Warehouses to store water. The factories are now gone or converted to residential or mixed-use, but this concrete cylinder still rises 100 feet in the air casting a historic shadow over bustling neighborhood bordering the Atlanta Beltline. At its base is a small park and private community garden.
