Unfortunately we didn't have time to film, but Kamata-san organized a demonstration march for world peace on March 6th which was attended by over 80 people.
You can see some pictures of the march in the local news article below.

What a great video, it’s nice to see religions working together instead of against each other to change the world, thank you

Xavier Cathedral was my parish when I was living in Kagoshima. It's a lovely and peaceful place. I didn't know that they had started an inter-religious prayer at these sacred places! I loved hearing this man's story. Fantastic video. ^_^

Great to hear that you lived in Kagoshima! Kamata-san and like minded religious leaders have been collaborating on inter-religious prayer and other events to do their part towards promoting world peace. It's a great initiative.

As an Atheist, Buddhism is the only religion that has ever fascinated me. This is really interesting. Wise words. Great video :)

      Being an atheist is just
the denial of god or gods
Witch ironically itself is a belief
Without any substance values or morals
With that logic and thinking you can justify anything witch creates chaos not order

Not believing in something is not a belief, it's just a fact about that person.
Also, nature is chaos, space is chaos, animals are chaos, whose to say chaos is bad since that's the way you frame it.
I aspire towards Buddhism which is just the betterment of oneself and I think the moral posturing that you do is just dumb,
leave people to do what they want as long as they don't harm you and stop imposing your values and unwanted ideas on them.
      Literally no one asked.
You're also not entirely correct as
Buddhism does not believe in a god and has substance, values and morals - for example.
Most atheists have a set of morals or at least believe in the rule of law - which is the collective philosophy of a country or a space.
Post Scriptum: If you reply I would appreciate you considering my point of view instead of trying to be the right one in an exchange of ideas,
if you're not going to do that I'll just ignore you.

I hear him ending his sentence constantly with 'ne'. Is this like an English person constantly saying 'right?' at the end of a sentence? I thoroughly enjoyed hearing his story!

Yes, saying "ne" is kind of like saying "right?" or "you know". Glad you enjoyed the story!
