Hello, please why did you indicate yes for travel companion? Did you travel together with your husband or he travelled at a later date? Should I fill no if my family will come at a later date?
Oh, that's just the exemplar from the USCIS website. That's not my actual DS160. If your J2 are not travelling with you then you do not have companions.

Question po, yung sa DS160, paano pag yung name ay Maria Christina Cruz (middle name) Panganiban (last name), sa surname part po ba ilalagay both yung surnames o yung last name lang?
surname = last name lang. First name is Maria Christina, Middle Name is Cruz

...this is what i gathered...However, there's no need to panic, either. Although it's true that the State Department does not provide a way to go back and change an already submitted DS-160, you can go online to submit a new, corrected DS-160, print the new confirmation page, and bring that to your interview at the consulate or embassy.

There's a button toward the end when you have to put in a payment plan. You have to use a credit card (visa or master card).
Contact person in the US I thought is our host school and superintendent? So it's not. the correct one is INTRAX our visa sponsor.

@@maryloupahuyo1217 Your family member lives in the US? If yes, then you may have them. For J1 visa though, the visa sponsor is the preferred contact person as they can best verify your identity and purpose of going to the US.

Any idea Po Kung anong nilagay ninyo do-on??

Ilalagay mo duon if retired ka, or on sabatical leave, resigned, or attending graduate school...
so bale yung reason kung bakit unemployed ka. Since nag aapply ka na ng visa (j1 po ba or B1 or F1) if J1, ibig sbaihin may job offer na po kayo, tama? Meaning may employer ka na sa US? So ibig sabihin na qualify ka naman nila to work in the US? Kasi usually required nila na currently employed.

What kind of visa are you applying for (DS 160 is for nonimmigrant visas, so there are many kinds) ? If anything is not applicable to you, you should still type in an answer. Ma'am, yong question ko na lang po, about the "Full Name in Native Alphabet", puwede naman po "Does Not Apply" na lang? May "C" po kasi name ko, wala naman tayong "C" sa native alphabet. Tama po?
part naman na sya ng alphabet natin sir db. hindi rin nman sila yang technical dyan. Example nang alphabet nila na native ay yung for instance mga Greek letters.... etc. So ilagay mo pa rin nman yung name mo na may letter C. Kagaya nung sa hubby ko na letter J at F. Part naman sya ng Filipino alphabet sir.

According to the online guide, "Native alphabet meaning essentially is filling out your first name, middle name and last name in non-English characters." Based on this, I think you did this section correctly.

I mentioned it in the video but here it is If you're completing multiple DS-160s for your family, you can create a family application that will automatically fill in some details for each family member. To do this, first, complete one DS-160. On the “Thank You” page that follows the confirmation page, you'll see an option to create a family application.

@@Teachingandmore Thank you ma'am. For clarification lang po maam, Yung sa part na travel companion maam? Ang set up kasi po is, sabay kami mgpa interview ng mga kids pero once approved yung visa namin, iiwan muna sila mga kids ako na muna ang ma una as J2 dependent. So travel companion part maam, need ko ba sila i input doon yung names ng dalawang kids? Medyo na confuse lang ako maam, kasi or baka mgka problem later if d ko ma ilagay yung names maam. Thank you agai maam sa time and sa response. Sana po ma sagot po yung query ko and pasensya na rin po sa abala maam.
@@SerrJsAgVenture sir okay lang naman if ilagay nyo sa kanila na ikaw ang travel companion nila dun sa kanilang ds160 tapos dun sa ds 160 ninyo pwede nyo na rin sila isali pwede rin naman na hindi. Kasi once may visa naman na kayo di naman yan required na magtravel agad agad. kasi pwede naman magtravel anytime hanggat valid ang visa. so in case i-ask kayo abaout the details ng byahe pwede nyo naman iexplain na yun ang travel plans nyo na sabay nyo sila inaapplyan ng visa for convenience. pero ang setup nyo ay ikaw muna mag travel then tsaka nyo na ipickup ang mga bata. pag di kayo tinanong during the interview, di nyo naman need ivolunteer ang information, wag kayo mag worry kasi approved na ang J-1 visa eh. susunod na lang kayo. Usually for verification na lang yan if totoong related kayo sa J-1 visa holder.
