Hi mate loving your videos great content always. I was after a little bit of advice I am doing some maintenance on my losi SRR front centre and rear different and was wondering what diff oil you recommend. I was going to lock up the rear with silicone earbuds and was wondering what to use on the other diffs?
Looks like a fun ass truck, i feel ya on sending the rc and breakage, only 2 ive really pushed my luck with are my arrma senton 3s and my CEN Reeper, but i feel the reeper can take most of what i give it
While Talbot certainly has a propensity for breaking RC’s. I doubt he’s sponsored. No one would sponsor someone who exposes all the product’s weaknesses and repeatedly breaks them.

@@heavymetalrc7520 yes on the xmaxx. Bought pro lines for the Maxx and 2 of those came apart on the first run. Luckily amain sent me 2 more. Just want a reliable tire for the xmaxx that won't come apart and fill with dirt😆
Hey bro think I should go with the six packs or lock ups for this truck? Also could you give me a handful of upgrades I should start off with in matter of importance if you don't mind? I got a upgraded Savox servo in it already. Thanks bro
This thing dont need much. Aluminum knuckles, Vitavon front shock tower, bell crank, and the Hot Racing brace (the small one that goes on top of the bellcrank with the tiny bearings in it), fabricate a metal plate for the ESC, and all T-Bone bits (bumpers, skid plates, shock protectors) are what i have done to mine. I did also install a 70 kg 1/5 scale servo and aluminum servo brace but you already said youve done those. Another good upgrade is aluminum upper arms, but isnt mandatory. Can fabricate the stock arms to run a thicker stainless steel threaded rod by drilling the arm itself, the rod end and putting a nylon tube between to hold the whole assembly together. Those are all i have done to mine and it is pretty much indestructible.
@@SebastianLong Hey Lane thanks for the input again as always. I'm not sure if this servo is a 1/5th scale or not but its a savox sv-0236mg. It came on the truck and I guess it is a 110$ servo. Now I'm gonna order the aluminum spindles but those other things should I just upgrade as it breaks or think I should do it before as preventative measures? Also I noticed one of the wheels is a little toed out. Both have toe out but it's weird that one seems a little more toed out but at only at certain times. Any idea if that's normal or what that could be? I've yet to be able to run it but if weather cooperates I should be able to run it this week....Hopefully lol
@@cwatson42785 The SV 0236 is a 1/5 scale servo, produces 555.5 ounce inches at 7.4 volts. Bell crank and knuckles are definitely a top priority. The other things i listed can be purchased in time but are very highly recommended.
@@cwatson42785 as far as the toe out goes you are talking about is probably the bell crank is cracked or broken or the spring isnt strong enough to help the servo saver return to center.
@@SebastianLong OK I appreciate the help and advice Lane, this and that dbxl is my first big 1/5th and 1/6th scale trucks. Fiqured I'll run it and see how it does. Can you recommend a brand bellcrank/servo saver? Also are the losi aluminum spindles fine or does it need to be the vitivon? Just thinking the losi ones I could get quicker. Thanks again for helping me with this bad boy. Can't wait to rip it!
Dude, I’m with you, I can’t afford to send all my rc’s every video! You do you bro, I like your videos 👍🏻
Thanks Rob.

Mamba Monster X 8S, 33.6V the esc you went with?
That the stock motor? If not which one did you go with?
So you recommend that ESC?

Wow that thing us fast man. Is that a crawler or a basher ?
Hmm..neither. It's a trail truck.

No, he's sponsored by youtube money. Lol.
To him youtube it's a job. So he has to break them for views.

Not afraid to wrench on their cars after a fun bash session like most average joes who work a normal 9-5 that can’t afford to do it themselves
What tires are on your super rock rey 2.0
Lol ya Kevin reference 😂😂
I think imma have to change my system out. I love how that sounds compared to stock.
You already have the esc.
So funny (JayTee it) up and down …. up and down 😂🤣
Love the super baja rey. Yours does sound wicked. And I get that you don't want to send that $$$$ car.
That sound tho. Cool shit!!
It almost looks like the tumbler from batman from the rear with them wheels
Would you choose this over the sbr?
Omg! That's a hard question. Lol. I refuse to answer that 😆
I saw this one was a little cheaper so I was leaning more towards it but ur videos of the sbr make me think something else lol
I personally like the Super Rock Rey better, but.....better choice is a 5ive T
PS, I am not busting your balls Heavy Metal.
I have a sbr. Always wanted one of these. None available at my lhs.
