There’s a short film called “Jack-Jack Attack” that shows you what exactly was happening with Jack-Jack and the babysitter while the family was away. It even includes when the babysitter calls Helen to leave those voicemails. It’s a pretty funny watch.
The scene where Mr.Incredible discovers Syndrome's plan and realises how far he went is still one of the most *chilling* in any animated movie I have ever seen. The implication alone is disturbing. Syndrome basically lured all these supers to the island one by one over the years, playing on their desire to relive their glory days, sistematically killed them while also slowly improving the Omnidroid every time it does get destroyed. And the worst part is is that the plan is *clever* , since he's killing two birds with one stone. He's improving the Omnidroid for the day he inevitabely faces Mr. Incredible while also making sure that no supers show up to mess with his plan. But, here's the thing, can you imagine how it must feel for Mr. Incredible? Imagine learning that all your associates that you've worked with for years, all your friends that even attended your wedding are not just dead, they've been sistematically *genocided* by a villain *you* created. And, even worse, Mr. Incredible was only invited to the island by accident. Syndrome was tracking *Frozone* , he had no idea where Mr.Incredible was because his family kept moving, so if he hadn't been with him the night that Mirage was tracking him, his best friend would have been added to the body count. PS: Shoutout to Gazerbeam for being able to sneak around Syndrome's base, figure out his plan and even leave info for whatever super came after him.
That scene was chilling when I saw it in the theater. But props to you for giving noticing the wider implications of this situation, and Mr. Incredible's role in creating this villain that was killing all his friends. Quite a bit of thought went into this movie, and (due to other adult themes like respect for stay at home moms, or the role of exellence/special talents in society) I maintain it is *every bit* as much for adults as it is for kids.
Fun fact: Syndrome's "hero name" and plan is almost a direct reference to the concept of a *Hero Syndrome* i.e. someone manufacturing crime and disasters so that they can swoop in and fix them.
it took me a long time to understand what Mr incredible was going through and what he meant by "i cant lose you again" And damn this movie just gets better and better as you get older
Dash’s little giggle when he figured out he can run on water will forever be my favorite clip from this entire movie lol. It’s such pure childish happiness, I love it. 😂
The Incredibles is a masterpiece, it's like the Shrek 2 of superhero animated movies. Some other superhero movie's you should check out, Leo + some quotes from the movie: Daredevil [Director's Cut only] Darkman Dredd Megamind Punisher: War Zone The Rocketeer Unbreakable Quotes 6:13 "You didn't save my life, you ruined my death." Lol, I could see something like that happening today. 19:37 "Now you respect me, because I'm a threat. That's the way it works." 30:33 You married Elastigirl? Whoa! And got biz-zay!" 30:47 "And when everyone's super...no one will be." 31:44 "WHERE. IS. MY. SUPER. SUIT?!?"
I'd add The Shadow to the list if Darkman is on there. It may not be everyone's favorite flavor, but any movie that starts with James Hong and has Tim Curry cannot be bad. 😁
Poor homegirl bro, she just doing her job 😂😂 Almost gets crushed, almost get choked unconscious, then Elastigirl comes thru and swings on her from the Moon 💀🤣😂
Around the time of its release to DVD my mom surprised me with it one day and I would watch this movie on repeat everyday doing my homework for a few hours.
Leo, you the man. Loved the video, but I wanted to comment just to say I sing "I'm so prouda myself todaaaayy!" like on the daily, I love that song man, you killed it.
Syndrome was so petty for how he became a villain. All Bob told him was, "go home". Plus, that dude Bob saved from almost committing suicide just wanted attention.
Hi Mr V. Hope you've had a brilliant Xmas. Great to see you. Hugs to Bella and love to you and your family. Wishing you health wealth and happiness for 2024.❤
You should react to the animated film “Bolt”. About a dog who is tricked into thinking he has super powers but in reality is being filmed for a TV show about…..well,,,,,.a dog with super powers. It’s is clever, poignant, funny, and inspirational. Voicing is done by several well know high profile icons. You will be charmed
When the van rolled to the parking spot, I've done that in games, literally just like that! Rolling while yelling "oh crap, oh crap, oh CRAP" until it stops, perfectly parked, followed by the obligatory "I meant to do that." Pixar nailed this one, without a doubt. The sequel... It's not terrible, but it didn't quite reach the same level of quality as the original.
Honestly I REALLY want them to do a version where the kids are grown up, because Dash would probably be so much faster than in this movie when he's fully grown with actual muscles lol
Luv this movie it's hilarious, now you have to watch incredible 2. Hope you had a blessed Christmas. Miracles and blessings to you and yours much luv ✌️ 💜🙏.
I once read a Spider-Man novel featuring the sinister Six in a double-novel story. In this book the story explains that NYC and S.H.I.E.L.D. partnered up to create a new Insurance company that was created specifically to handle superhero related damages to personal property. lol If your house gets smashed while Spider-Man id fighting Doctor Octopus?? You can get that covered. If Hulk uses your new Hybrid to swat a mofo into downtown?? You can get that covered. If it's superhero related and your shit gets damaged, this Insurance company got you. lol.
Hey, Leo. Love that you reacted to this movie. It's basically a rewrite of the Fantastic Four. But Brad Bird is brilliant in this action-comedy with a heart that shows his true love for animation. You must also check out his previous movie from 1999 called THE IRON GIANT. I know you will love it too. It is always great to hear Samuel L. Jackson's voice added to any film especially an animated one. But did you know that Brad Bird, the director, voices the character of Edna in this movie? She is based on legendary Hollywood costume designer Edith Head. Or that Syndrome is Jason Lee. I know him from his comedy show, MY NAME IS EARL. I also think Mr. Incredible's boss at the insurance company bears a striking resemblance to Stephen King. The acting and production of this film is first rate. You must do the sequel. And it is mentioned that RATATOUILLE should be on your list. I totally agree. Along with THE JUNGLE BOOK, UP, and MOANA. And by the way, James Brown has a song that underlines what you said about Elasti-Girl. The song is "GOODNESS SAKES, TAKE A LOOK AT THOSE CAKES ". Enjoy the ride you are on. We're here for you. HAPPY NEW YEAR, Leo. 15:03

Did you notice another movie with Samuel L Jackson in it when Lucius was standing next to the water cooler and the police were pointing their guns at him and he said “I’m thirsty I’m just getting a drink” 😂 I never noticed it before until just now! 😅

I never really believed that Mirage scene with Mr Incredible, as if she was not totally knowing how he would react and condoning it already. Should have been obvious Buddy knew that Bob would not go through with it. Syndrome was a great villain IMO, up until the point where he started getting sloppy at the very end. But even in defeat there, he still had a quick comeback with the baby and lost from an almost Deus Ex since they didn't even know the baby had powers.

Yes that one is funny!! He drove that poor babysitter crazy! 😂
That short was just as good as the movie 😂😂
Corrie went through it looking after Jackjack 😂

Elizabeth Pena who was the voice of Mirage also played in Rush Hour 1 with Jackie Chan And Chris Tucker my mom told me she died in 2012

Edna Mode is based directly on Edith Head, the legendary real life Hollywood costume designer who won eight Oscars between 1949-73

The voice actor for Mr Incredible, Craig T Nelson, is from my hometown Spokane Washington. He was also in Poltergeist.
