Steve. Mike here. New to your channel and bikes actually at the ripe old age of 71. Trying to catch up quickly as I am acquiring a few bikes now before the body gives out. Always have been a DIY guy at least as we say here in the states. Have done a lot of stuff to cars and around the house so I assume I will be adding important accessories like this one and others. Good job doing this for all of us out here who like to turn a wrench or two and more. Just subscribed today. Thanks!
I have the compact sound-bomb & it’s a fantastic horn, really pleased with it 👍 A little criticism that I have was the bolt which is supplied the horn that bolts the horn to the bracket is just to short, you barely have enough thread. They could do with supplying a slightly longer bolt. I changed mine out for stainless steel bolt but slightly longer
I recently fitted a compact sound bomb and eZcan. Left oem horn attached and programmed through ezcan 0.25 sec delay. This means my oem horn can be used to toot goodbye or thankyou without the full noise of compact sound bomb which comes in after 0.25 sec. Love this option.
I bought a SB compact from you. I have touratech upper bars on my F850 so fitted the SB under the beak with the crash bar mount. It sounds like a truck.
Hi Steve. I have a (new to me) 2020 GSA which has the sound bomb already fitted. However when I want to give a short blast, it stays on long enough for my brain to think that the horn button on my handlebar has stuck. I've contacted Denali directly and they suggest it is the relay. Just wondering what your thoughts might be?
Hi chap. Thanks for the videos first of all, very helpful. Do you know if I can fit a Denali Compact to my K1300s? if so, do I require any additional cables? Thanks in advance.
I have the compact SoundBomb between the forks on my 2019 GS Low. I did have to work a little to adjust the positioning since it is VERY tight. But I eventually got it set up.
Thanks for the greet videos steve. Question - I have fitted a standard sound bomb , between the forks using the final method suggested. However, my Denali wiring harness is about 6-8” short of connecting. Is there a shorter and longer harness or do I need to do my own wiring hash ? Thanks, martin
I don't like the high tone pitch of the 2 tone one. I prefer the one tone of the mini a lot more. Is it possible to just add 2 units of the mini? That way it should be as loud as the 2 tone, but just with the nicer 1 lower tone.
I bought the split unit. While reading the manual, it says to not mount the compressor more than 25 degrees. Was there no issue with the way it was mounted?
have installed Soundbomb Compact horizontally under the "peak" of my 1250gsa, it is fixed to the rack of denali lights, horizontally. however installation guidance says compressor should stay vertical. hope my bad installation won't kill the compressor 😂😂😂😂
Hi Steve, love the videos. I’ve just bought a mini sound bomb for my new triple black R1250GS. Took all the panels off and found that the space seems to have gone. Have you noticed a change in the nose design underneath that has reduced the space for the mini bomb? Or am I being daft? Cheers
Great Video. Regarding the Soundbomb itself can it be fitted to any bike by simply replacing the OEM horn? Oh and by the way the phrase “Bob’s your Uncle” arose after the then Tory Prime Minister, Robert Gascoyne-Cecil or "Bob" appointed his nephew Arthur Balfour as Chief Secretary for Ireland in 1887, an act of nepotism, which was both surprising and unpopular. Apparently, it's very simple to become a minister when Bob's your uncle
I bought a compact sound bomb from you and installed it in a GSA1250 lower suspension between the forks and it is working fine. Why don't you recommend this? I just ride the bike usually on paved roads. I don't see myself pushing the suspension to the max. Is this the reason?
Hi, I bought a sound bomb but I have g310GS, do you have any video tutorial about how to install the soundbomb on it? Or if I need an adapter that I can buy from you also? I’ll appreciate a lot thanks in advance !
good video as always, do you have a customer that wants Denali products on his 2021 Ducati Multistrada V4S? Colaboration with a Ducati Dealer or Ducati UK?
There's no cansmart for the Ducati....yet. However I have intentionally bought my new BMW from a dealer that has other brand of motorcycles under their wing.
@@ABIKETHING , I heard about the "YET" part. supposedly a universal CAN opener. Interestingly enough, Denali lists a lot of their products under 2021 Duc MS V4S if you shop by bike. My dealer service manager advised strongly against mounting anything that can't be programmed.
Hello Steve, thanks for the video! I have a new factory lowered 2022 1250 GS Adventure, is there a video how to install the split soundbomb on a lowered GSA? Thanks's, and keep up the good work!
Good day Steve! Could you kindly do a video review of the Denali crash-bar mounts. The different sizes and other functions seem to be a nightmare when it comes to ordering the right item. Also, there aren’t any specifications as to what type of light pods they can support with regards to weight and size of said light pod. A full review will do a world of good and also improve your content since there literally isn’t any video online that reviews this item from Denali. Thanks you 🙏🏽
Hi Steve, I appreciate you and your videos. I know this has been asked before. What do you with the OEM horn from a 2021 1250 GSA once a compact SoundBomb has been installed through a CAMsmart? Thanks!

I let them run in parallell on my old R1200GSA-14. You may need a relay to avoid triggering an error code. But remember to connect a diode on the relay to handle EMC spikes when relay goes off.
This is what this video explains. Lowered GS's need to use the split. It's also clearly stated on the web listings too. www.abikething.com/shop/?filter_bike=bmw-r1250-gs-2018&filter_product-type=combination-packages
Steve, love and just found your videos! Very informative. I've an issue however. I have Denali D4S, Compact SoundBomb too. When I installed the horn it worked on first press. But then stopped as have my 4s. Any ideas? Followed many videos, bike is a 2019 1250 GS. Cheers Mate. Have the CanBus and as I've seen nothing else needs to be peorformed.
Very imformative content despite I own a Yamaha Super Tenere XT1200Z.... Hope the inventer of the Cam-smart system will cater for other bikes brand in the near future. Have you or anyone have fitted the denali sound bomb on the super tenere? After watching your content, am kind of interested in such horn....
I wonder whats is the deference btw denali soundbomb and ULTIMATE BLAST 12V FIAMM Except of the price seems that fiam design is out there longer than denali.... .
Soundbomb mini and the bmw specific harness does not work as intended on a GS LC model, try again starting the motorcycle and press the horn button for more than a sec, CANBUS turns the circuit off
Anybody know if the compact fits the 2019 crf1000 adventure sports in the same place as the original horn in front of the radiator? If Anybody can advice on this thanks 👍
Hi, the compact fits on the side using this mount abikething.com/product/horn-mount-honda-crf1000l-crf1100l-africa-twin-16-22-crf1000l-crf1100l-africa-twin-adventure-sports-18-22/
Re sky lift; Letting the bike sit on the ram like that without using the lock off bar will quite quickly properly knacker the seals on that ram Nice video though
I have mentioned this before but your notification bell is greyed out and gives the message unavailable for content made for children. I note that your animation highlights the notification bell so don’t know if you’re aware of this.

Goodnight. When installing a soundbomb connected to a Cansmart Denali, should I disconnect the original horn terminals? Thank you
Thanks for taking the time to produce this informative vid 👍

Is there a mounting kit and video for the horn on the KTM 1290 SAS?

@@ABIKETHING not yet. I've utilized the supplied relay, wiring harness. Shouldn't be that much of a draw, no other lights or draws.

Hi, Can you do this for Vespas GTS?
Hi there can't see the video of how rot connect them ?
Well, some people use this phrase in the States. Mainly those who are talking to someone whose uncle happens to be named Bob. 😅
Does your harness fit the bmw g310r?
You do a wiring kit for the Yamaha mt09 2016 buddy
Yes it a universal soundbomb wiring kit for all bikes
Great, thanks! Could you show us how to remove the sat nav prep from the bike?
I’ve never removed it myself. Would be like the blind leading the blind😂.
Soundbomb mini and the bmw specific harness does not work as intended on a GS LC model, try again starting the motorcycle and press the horn button for more than a sec, CANBUS turns the circuit off

Another interesting and informative Vid (even though I have an Africa Twin! lol)
I will respond to your email today.
I installed the Soundbomb and it pulls 54 amps. 54 amps for a horn? Chucked it in the bin.
Your customer should have had you install some radiator guards while it was there! That will be one of the first things I do anyway!
Can I connect mini sound bomb to cansmart?
Anybody know if the compact fits the 2019 crf1000 adventure sports in the same place as the original horn in front of the radiator? If Anybody can advice on this thanks 👍
