Cool! Nice work. One of my (many) in-progress pieces leans heavily on 'Time' for inspiration (SUCH a lovely track), and what I've learned more than anything else is how expertly he keeps things simple, and at the same time how bad I am at trying to do the same. He is a master, no question.
It's one of the strange things in writing music that often it's more difficult to write something simple than something complex (and still be good music).
I went back and opened up the session to see what was happening at Bar 13 (which I think is you are talking about) and there are no bum notes... there is a bass drum that gets added at the point which might be what you are hearing?
great film, great track, great rendition.
'nuff bass!
Cheers Ali C!
🎉 awesome 🎉
Awesome work Stephen!!! ❤
Thanks Ben! Had a lot of fun making this one
One of my favourite tracks and such a simple chord sequence underlying a fantastic track that builds and builds.
Absolutely. It’s amazing what you can do with simple chords but brilliant orchestration
Lovely! And a beautiful demonstration of the ‘limitation breeds creativity’ concept
Absolutely - often having too much choice can stifle creativity so it was fun to work within the constraints of only using Crow Hill samples.
Fab stuff Stephen 🚀🚀🚀
Thanks Andrea - hopefully I did the track justice!
@@StephenTallamyMusic nailed it!!!

Grate brass sound
Glad you liked it!
Absolutely brilliant! Just goes to show with talent you can achieve incredible results. I'm going to have to buy the Vertical Piano now aren't I??
Thank you! It’s a great piano to add character to a track.

Sounds wonderful, but is there a bum note at 10.28 or is it just my bad ears/misrembering the original?

That could be it, thanks for checking, wasn't actually expecting that 😊
