Will always bug me when Republicans are like "abortions!, nobody should have them!" like those of us who have been through it haven't been scarred by it. It's not an easy choice. Love to all you who made the hard choice. You're no less because of it.
@@aspect57I mean, Republicans literally celebrated a 10 year old getting pregnant and a few even said "if she is old enough to have sex then she can deal with the consequences of her actions"...and the usual BS of "well it's god's will"..wtf..like a 10 year old can even remotely consent and the dude was impregnated her was not only a pedo but a r*pist as well.
I remember this song coming out when I was in middle school, and I really liked it. Years later, while listening to it in high school, I finally had the epiphany of "Holy shit, this song is about taking his gf to get an abortion." This song does an amazing job of really pointing out that, even if it is your best option, it still hurts. You still have to wake up every day and remember the choice. It doesn't take a side on abortion at all and, instead, rides that fine line down the middle, like few other songs are able to do.
Amazing band and they're even better live! This song is so sad, it's about one of the band members who's ex had an abortion and how it broke them both. Thanks for the video!
For the moment we're alone... and she's alone, and I'm alone, and now I know it. They're alone. But not alone together. They're both alone by themselves. Just in the same car.
Always an amazing song. Oner that most people don't remember unless they were from the late 90s. I've thankfully never experienced this, but like most males... I've feared the prospect of an abortion... Granted even without this, I'm still just a drowning brick.
I'm glad I'm one of your buddies. I really enjoy watching your reactions because they are so genuine and endearing. May I make a request please. Could you possibly check out Ed Sheeran's live room performance of you need me I don't need you. I'm not sure of what you can pass by youtube algorithms so it might have to be in your own time but I promise you won't be disappointed. I look forward to your further videos for as long as you are willing to continue. Your buddy James
@@chrishansen8119 if you limit the choices to things that you heard on the radio, I might agree with you, but it's definitely not the best from their entire catalogue.
Nathan your videos are sick i always love your reactions but we need more sabbath i believe youve only done war pigs? Snowblind or NIB would be insane!

When he gets to THE PART of the song it's really hard not to shed a tear.
Always a song that brings a tear from my own eye due to my own similar experience.
Me too. Over 30 years ago but never leaves
The song Lime Tree by Bright Eyes is also from the man's perspective and has a similar tone. Really recommend it.
@@beccaleigh7744 checking it out now.

Ben folds is frkn amazing, such a great songwriter, so under
appreciated
"Can't you see? It's not me you're dying for?" That line hits me straight in the heart every time.
It's absolutely devastating.
I love the way you spoke about the meaning of the song at the end.
Yeah that was quite deep analysis. I didn't even know it was about an abortion.
Ben folds grew up close to me in Winston Salem NC. So this is about abortion and the clinic is in Charlotte. Random fact

It’s actually about Ben himself and his high school girlfriend, not just a band member. He discussed it during one of his live recordings.
Breathe. This song is so sad and beautiful. ❤
Holy fuck Brick, the most depressing song but also one of the greatest. Great choice dude
Great, sad song! This entire album is 🔥.
When choosing abortion, the emotions that ential
Best reaction vid, no stopping during the song is key! Great job!
Great song. it's such a sad topic
Ugh this fucking songggg. I always forget about this song and then when I hear it again it just hits me right in the feels.
This song breaks me😢
Definitely checkout some Bright Eyes, anything from ‘I’m wide awake it’s morning’ hits hard
OMG I just recommended Lime Tree from the Cassadega album to someone in these comments! Same subject as Brick, great song.
Heart breaking song. 🖤

Lightning crashes by Live
I second that
love your channel man
I've never seen a single homie so fucking hyped and then, camera cuts and we in sad boy hours.
Classic
Had to listen to that twice...I've missed it
You don't hear many love songs about "We're not supposed to be together." Bob Dylan's "It Ain't Me Babe" comes to mind.
Tomorrow by Silverchair!
Oh wow. This is maybe their most depressing song.
Ben Folds did some solo work as well. Check out "Rockin' the Suburbs". It's not sad. Promise.
"Now that I found someone, I'm feeling more alone than I ever have before. " the irony. deep.
You should check out their song Army. It's a lot more upbeat.
The lyrics are quite bitter and sarcastic.

Ah yes, the abortion song.
Best misheard lyric: "She is bald upon the couch"
I have a request, please listen to Seether, featuring Amy Lee, the song is, Broken.
So I have a suggestion for a song. I know you did some Hollywood undead but Hear Me Now by them is really good! TONS OF POWER BEHIND THE WORDS!
The piano was the strong point? Did you even hear the lyrics???
can you please do if we ever - high contrast
I suggest you to listen to Sharks by Imagine Dragons
Listen to Brother by Needtobreathe
Rise against - behind closed doors please bro 🔥
Maybe you should try Rammstein...
Hey man, there's an artist I highly recommend bro! Divide Music! If you love anime character based songs, you'll love this guy!
React to some Sam Fender! Seventeen going under (live)
Would love to see a reaction to cky 96 quite bitter beings if ya get a chance too
You ass!... I JUST got that song out of my head, and now it's right back in
Great song but it is a rough one
cry...
react to Ice Hockey Hair by Super Furry Animals please !
If you’re going to react to this song you need to know what it’s about.
This song isn’t even one of their good ones. 😮💨
It’s arguably Ben Folds best song, you’re insane
