I joined the Army in 2007. The first thing I did when I got out of Basic Training was go to the base store and bought an iPod. This was the old ones with the click wheel instead of a touch screen and whenever my mom or grandma or whatever would ask what I needed I told them to send me iTunes gift cards. The first album I bought was Ben Folds Live. I listened to that album on near repeat as an escape from Army training. And completely unironically, 'Army' was my favorite song on that record. So thanks Ben for your help getting through a rough time.
The fact that he would begin AND end a party with "Dancin' On The Ceiling" says a lot about the guy's sense of humor and his intellect. I'd get drunk with him!
I am a recent discoverer of Reverb (the web store selling site) and this is how I discovered the TH-cam channel. I found myself listening to the BF5 along with my daughter back in the day, I am pretty old because my kid turned 34 this past year. Fun video, thanks Ben and Reverb
The first time I saw this nigga was on the Jenny McCarthy show in like 1997.. Playing One Angry Dwarf and 200 Solemn Faces.. I was obsessed with that whole album after that.
Ben Folds: "Well I thought about the army...." Reverb: "Do you regret joining the army?" Also Ben Folds: "Wow, I haven't thought about that!" BFF fans: "LIAR!!!"
Please tell me you didn't ask Ben Folds "If you COULD be a virtuoso in any instrument, what would it be?" Don't. Don't do that. I guess you don't know what he does.

I joined the Army in 07 as well! I still jam Ben Folds! Love this guy!
I so love that guy and his music. Glad I was able to see Ben Folds Five back in the day.
I wish I could have seen him back in the mid 90s ... but I've made up for it since. He puts on a great show.

But the real question is:
Are these spaces designed to be flexible?
fantastic reference
The Ben Folds-William Shatner connection is probably the best collab that has blessed the human race
Ben killed it with the Kansas City Symphony. I took my parents, and everyone had so much fun.
What a musician. He’s written songs that have become part of who I am.

So friggin influential to music in my opinion. Love love Ben Folds..everything he's ever done
Ben seems to be a genuinely nice person and someone I’d want to spend time with.
So glad they drew some attention to Fear of Pop, easily the best if not one of the best Ben Folds side projects
This is the interview I never knew I needed!!!
Awwww! I love Ben!!! He was one of the first artists I ever profoundly connected with. This was such a good video, guys. Thank you for it
That's some very good preparation for an interview, probably by a huge fan.
My dad introduced me to Ben Folds' music on a car trip. Loved it

Why wouldn't you have a piano in front of him? It's Ben Folds....helllooooo?
They think that I’m like the next Brittany Spears.....which is probably what they assumed anyway 🤣
I unironically cover his cover of Bitches Ain't Shit
Ahahaha....so....I last saw him in the sing off
that line about making the piano his bitch :D
