I currently train weight training 4 x a week in mornings MMA 4x a week in the evenings (I run to and from my mma gym, this typically takes me 2hrs 30 mins there and back) I then mix flexibility training in-between workouts every day I run 5k as fast as I can every Saturday I then mix in ice baths after mma training & in the mornings Im 16 years old and my goal is to get as fit as i can and as good as i can at mma as quick as i can. Am i doing to much? What advice would you give an aspiring martial artist like myself?
My advice would be to remain as consistent with that routine as possible, you will be in phenomenal shape especially considering your age. Hold your self to doing it because if you keep doing what you are doing for some years you will be an athletic freak.
