Hi, the boat is still self-righting when you place the batteries in the middle and not on the side?
There will be some videos first before the real ironclad magic stuff happens. But that's ok. The way how to get to a more extreme setup is going to be very interesting, that's for sure..... I think its a very serious bash boat, not quite sure if it's a good saw hull so that's were my interest primarily will be...
Btw, i made a "lookalike escape hatch" on the "cockpit" for the gps reciever so its inside the boat...
You got that right, we're gonna go full ironclad on this setup, need to feel the boat out before I pull the trigger on electronics
Great Tips Big B , maybe that’s what is happening with me, I have the same Radio with the GPS from Oxidean and experiencing it Cutting out on me /loss of signal. When running the Lucas Oil 60 Mono .staying tuned in to see how you like it. Thanks for posting 👍
Oh yea, get that antenna out the hull as much as possible, that should give you more signal, also the radio has an antenna that you can extend, that may help

Hello Big B, nice and useful tips for all as always i myself have rebuild all electronics and installed that same tactic transmiter and found a old traxxas receiver box where i put the receiver to waterproof it. The boat s hull is fiberglass in your oppinion is there any problem of radio reception? Thanks man most appreciated.
Only carbon fiber & carbon Kevlar hulls block reception, you're Fiberglass hull should be okay 👍

If you were going to buy a dominator with your own money which one would it be? Kevlar? ARTR? Would it be a self-righting one now that you know it does really ever end up upside down? Thank you
I'd get the non self-righting version, way more room for electronics placement, definitely carbonfiber, only because I like the look over carbon kevlar. 1650kv 8s rtr

I'd go with the 2000kv. Make sure you have an esc up to the task

is the hull length about 22 inches or more...looks very much the same size as my old sword fish boat...
She's 33.5" long 10.25" wide

If you mean speed control its a DYNIMITE 120a. If your referring to the transmitter its an oxidean quasar
