That was the most in depth analysis I’ve ever seen for a cigar. Very impressive.

I smoke these sticks all day everyday in the good old US of A and I have them with a Coors banquet, n'ough said!

Smoked my first today out of my box of Churchill’s. Beautiful wrapper. Great vitola with the semi box press. Good flavorful that kinda reminded me of a Padron but I was expecting more flavor and spice. Will let em rest for a month and revisit. Perfect draw and lots of burn issues indicative of a thick broadleaf wrapper.

Let them rest of a bit. Hopefully, the quality improves!

    One of my favorite cigars!
Listening to your explanations of flavors and impressions of fragrances in this stick reminded me of the way I breakdown personal fragrance. Do you wear/collect fragrances by chance?

I actually just picked up some of these Master Blends 3 and have been enjoying them thoroughly. Honestly, I've yet to be disappointed by anything from Oliva.
Regarding fragrances - YES! We have a ton of content, both video and written, much of which was created by CP. You can check out our YT fragrances playlist here: th-cam.com/video/fSeWi20tLG4/w-d-xo.html and our website content here: bespokeunit.com/fragrance/

09:57 ahhh now I hear the native French accent. The way you said "marniaque". I'm a native French speaker as well so it's easy, usually, for me to pick up when native French speakers speak English. In your case, however, your English accent is rather excellent and it was hard to pick up on the native French one. Great review too! I'm enjoying a MB 3 for the first time now and I have to say, it had a rough start. Draw was tighter than I like 'em and I over heated the cherry in the first third because of it. Gave off a bitter taste. Eventually, the draw opened up and the bitterness faded as I began pacing myself. At the midway point, I was finally able to taste that unique Broadleaf flavor which I'm so fond of. Overall, a somewhat rocky start but a delicious finale.

Haha, it pops up here and there, especially when talking about Armagnac! It's a shame that the first third let you down because of the tight draw but I'm relieved to hear that it picked up. It's a great cigar and certainly worth keeping a few in your humidor for the right occasion.

The Master Blends 3 is one of my favorite from Oliva. Easy smoke with great flavor and can often be found for a great price online.

Absolutely not your fault, but to me, This was one of the most off-putting cigars that I've had from the Oliva brand. I ended up giving away 15 out of 20 of my purchase. Thanks for the video sir..looking forward to the next

Sorry to hear that! The ones I sampled were pretty good! Out of curiosity, what did you find so unpleasant?

@@Bespokeunit The first 3rd was "ok", but the second to the last 3rd had a somewhat of a bitter'ish char as well as an overwhelming mineral taste. Again, Its hard to describe, but in the end, it just didnt work for me. However, those whom I shared them with all said they enjoyed the cigar. ..Guess I am a bit "finicky"? lol

@@drillsgtlangdon That's very interesting! And not at all, everyone has their own personal tastes!

You’re not the only one, I too couldn’t stand this blend and gave away the rest. Others liked them so taste really is subjective, but it was an all time horrible cigar in my book.

Glad to know I'm not the only one. I bought a box of 20 and tried the first one today. Was really put off by the shape immediately. It was not advertised as box pressed. I found the initial flavor incredibly bitter and harsh. Not pleasant at all. I did smoke the whole thing and the flavor did change throughout. Around the mid third it got better. It did leave a good taste in my mouth afterward. It's a very unconventional flavor profile. I'm going to smoke a few more and try it accompanied with black coffee to see if that helps. Once these are gone I doubt I will every buy them again. I'm not sure yet though. I will know better after I smoke a few more.
