I am an actor and content creator with Hollywood credits including roles on Lucifer (Netflix), Starlight Christmas (Hallmark), JT Leroy (Universal Studios), etc. In this channel, I offer insight to Kpop performances using my 10+ years of training in dance, acting, singing and overall performance. Nuest is one of the best groups in kpop in my opinion. Although they are with HYBE now, pledis still mistreat them, but they SHINE. Really, nuest has a very unique sound. One of the best things about nuest are their B-sides, please listen to them, that's why i called them B-sides KINGS, their voices blend so well and they are so complete and efficient in every performances!

Nuest has a flawless discografy. I discovered them about 3 years ago and every single album is great
Honestly yes. They're one of the few idols groups that I feel don't have just filler songs in their albums, the albums are always so good. Nocturne was good enough to finally surpass Re:Birth for me but this is is so good too
I got into Nu'Est due to Nu'Est W. I absolutely loved Deja Vu and Help Me and then once Minhyun was back I kept following them and they're great!
Except for Aron (the one with the mullets), all the other 4 were in Produce. Aron didn't participate because he had injured his leg back then.
The dance practice is gonna take a while , because two members aren’t promoting this comeback with the others . The two members that are missing is Aron and Baekho.
not really, aron is doing selected promotions and he did studio choom for example so we can probably expect him in the dance practice. as for baekho he's resuming activities today.

They're both still promoting. Aron has decided to be selective with promotions depending on how he feels. Baekho is only taking a few days off due to his grandmother's passing. The dance practice has likely already been filmed prior to the comeback dropping.

I would like to add that their name NU'EST is pronounced as "new-east" not "newest" (Their OG logo was a compass which helped me learn when they first debuted. Their member Baekho also has a compass tattoo to represent them.)

so glad you finally reacted to NU'EST!! the guy with the nice falsetto is Minhyun who is on pd101, as well as the blue haired guy called Ren (but PD uses their real names so Ren is called Mingi on the show) pink haired guy is JR which you know is Jonghyun in pd101. Four members have participated in produce so Aron was not there (the guy with a mullet who sings in the second chorus)

Nu'est has some different vibes (and maybe moves too i guess?) from most other groups, what makes them stay refreshing and interesting ^_^ definitely recommend checking out more stuff from SVT's big brothers (even if they are not as popular as svt) ☺️😂

I think Nu'est has a very distinct sound while still keeping each new comeback fresh and new.
Ever since 'Overcome' (pre-produce 101) they've continuously put out songs that made me think "yes this nu'est" but it never feels boring or reused? Whoever is in charge of picking out their title tracks did a fantastic job giving Nu'est their own unique colour

this is honestly my top kpop song of 2021 so far, and i’m pretty shocked because i don’t listen or keep up with nuest that much! but i’m so glad i clicked on their MV randomly. it’s so sexy and chic, while still being really catchy!

+ the song is a chill house vibe so I guess that's why it's not a hard drop? Nu'est (pronounced new-east) usually dabbles in more classy, suave styles or concepts ever since they got out of PD101, but also bubbly or even ballads. This album is a full album since 7 yrs (in between is always mini albums), and there's 10 songs, 5 are solos (if you're curious to check it out, it's a variety of sounds expressing different ideas on romance) and this had the most participation by all members whether just songwriting or also producing. There's a studio choom ver already (first time for them on there!!) out but not yet the dance practice. You can also check their songs like Bet Bet (the MV have a diff song preview at the end), I'm In Trouble, Bass, Love Me. The next few songs is fresh after PD101 so only watch if you don't mind PD spoilers? Dejavu is my personal fav lol, then there's also Where You At, and Help Me. They have a storyline of knights searching for their queen starting from early in their career, then ends at Bet Bet. We assume that Inside Out involves a diff storyline cause there's some repetitive concepts/imagery that somewhat connects some vids.
For reference of the members; JR (pink haired) or Jonghyun, is the leader of the group. Baekho is the producer n songwriter of the group (of course with Bumzu). Minhyun is the sweet voiced guy, foxy eyes, also the awkward cutie. Aron is the one with mullet, a korean american and the only member who's not on PD101, and he just came back from a hiatus (still on a flexible schedule while promoting to not strain him) but applauseee hahaha. Oh and also the only member who's not 95z, he's the oldest born in '93. Ren, or Mingi is the blue haired guy, the mood-maker and the charismatic energetic member.

NU'EST is one of the few groups of the 2nd generation of kpop that stays together as a whole, they were the first boy group of an agency that almost broke them, the first group in take too long to get a win, just because of that, they're legends.

The one that you remember is JR he goes by his real name Kim Jonghyun in PD101 since that is the rule.
The other 3 were Kang Dongho (Baekho), Hwang Minhyun the one you said has nice voice tone and Choi Mingi (Ren) the one with blue hair.

Yess Nu'est finally! I'm really interested to see your reaction to their choreography. Since they are mainly a vocal group, they usually have choreos more focused on imaginery and sharpness, rather than being fast or having an stamina-consuming dance, so I'm curious about what points of the choreo you find interesting and/or complex.

Also about Baekho's physique being a Wonho's situation hehe BM from Kard "created" a group name called Big Tiddie Comitee, which is formed by idols who are buff. Wonho, Shownu, Baekho, Mingyu, Pentagon's Hongseok, SKZ Bang Chan, and others...he usually make jokes and share pictures with the "members" hahaha

NU'EST are a five member group, 4 of them were on produce101: Baekho (who you apparently already remember haha), minhyun ( the one with the falsetto); Ren (blue hair) and JR (red hair). Aron (the one with a mullet) wasnt able to particpate in produce due to an injury.
I would really recommend to react to more NU'EST mvs and dance practice, like Bet Bet, Love Me, I'm in Trouble or older songs like Face (Debut Song!), Hello, Overcome and more.
I would recommend NU'EST W the subunit as well. 😆

Hi jeff i do like this video and I’m so happy seeing enjoy Nuest because I think Nuest’s songs are quite classy, easy listening songs (also they are quite different from kpop vibe, I don’t know why lol) I would like to recommend Bet Bet from Nuest which is the song having my favorite performance. The performance is really strong which incredibly surprise me with the vocal techniques in such a really strong performance. Or if you love the chill vibe from this group, I recommend I’m in Trouble. It gives quite similar vibe to Inside Out. You may not do the reaction if you’re busy for other contents but I hope you can watch the performance or listen to the songs. 😆😆

Dude, one of my biggest pet peeves, Nu’Est is pronounced like “New East” and not “newest” if you listen to their discography there are several songs they say it in, including the introductory first track of their debut mini album, not to mention their group intro....they debuted the same year as Exo and are one of the most underrated groups in kpop, I’m so glad that they’re getting more attention since produce 101, and their member Minhyun was the member that debuted with Wanna One, and while he was with them the other members promoted as Nu’Est W

Baekho wore a crop top for their last comeback 'I'm in Trouble' it was so dangerous. You should checkout their other former comebacks they don't do bad songs. Love Paint is a comeback that didn't get its due. It's a shame they never released 'Heaven' with SVT as a proper single too.

Jonghyun (stage name: JR) is the cherry haired guy from Produce. Also called Nation's Leader (if you google NL, it comes out with him lol) Minhyun and Minki (stage name: Ren) were actually also in Produce101, sadly Aron (mullet) was injured and didn't participate.
