Though Instagram is a huge factor to her success, it's not the first thing on her agenda when it's time to wake up - meditation is. In our last episode of Waking Up With for the year, Aimee opens up about her anxiety, the app that keeps her centered, and what it's like to have a closet full of Chanel in tow for the iconic house's annual Métiers d’Art presentation in NYC. As another Asian American this video shows me once again why I’ve never been able to get behind Aimee song. She’s just so..clueless. I don’t understand why she says things like ‘an asian face like mine’ means I really need to highlight blah blah. What is it with her and just dying to reiterate the stereotype that all Asians look the same and that all Asians lack prominent facial features? It is so irritating. We don’t all look the same and plenty of us don’t have flat faces. If you have a flat face say man I need to highlight because my face is flat not I need to highlight because I’m asian...honestly wtf?

um huh.. that's it... what a weird cut-off; talk about a huge event but then put on an outfit and go out for the day.. but don't actually go to the event? lol... to be honest if I have to hear about avocado toast one more time.. I am literally going to scream.. nothing worse then a girl that orders half the menu; but doesn't even eat 1/5 of it.. what a waste.. also she can wake up and have anxiety the next day about... nothing.
You are making so many assumptions here. To state she has no anxiety and nothing to worry about is a total insult to her career and downgrading her as a human. Everyone has problems and challenges they face. Influencers like Aimee only show off her highlight reel and she may seem to be living her life, having such a loving boyfriends, to have all the fashion goods she wants, and to have a wonderful family, but you never know what goes on behind those camera. Think about Shay Mitchell, did you know she had a miscarriage this year? doesnt seem like so through social media right?
@@tinateng5644 no offense I have no idea who shay mitchell is.. and kind of don't care..I was stating with the video I think the editing was off. or the story is off.. I watch a lot of Aimee's videos.. she talks about her struggles; but the thing I think she doesn't do correctly is change her lifestyle so she doesn't have to deal with those struggles; I think she picked the wrong career.. but she always seems to have these awkward like band-aid like 'helpers'; like a meditation app.. that won't do anything for her.. its her lifestyle.
@@austind3459 I agree most of the editing staff with you, but anxiety and depression is actually a very serious and common modern health issue, it takes a very long time to be cured, not as easy as 'just change your lifestyle'. And changing job or lifestyle is not even easy for a mentally healthy person.
