  • Beauty and the Beast: Live on Stage has carried the title of being the longest running stage show in theme park history. It only stands to reason that we would cover the evolution of this show since its opening in 1991. Belle, the Beast, and Gaston have been entertaining Walt Disney World guests almost 30 years at this point. From being in the Theater of the Stars, to the Premiere Theater, and back again, we will share all of the details of this fabulous show.
*Thank-you to all of the cast members who have performed in this show over the years. I would have loved to have recognized you all individually, but I definitely don't want to miss any of you. Just know we appreciate you!*

I love these "history of" videos! They are so well made and researched!

Thank-you SO MUCH, Allie! It really means the world. We had previously tried to stick to a weekly schedule, but we want to give the best research we can. Sometimes that means pushing the schedule out a bit. So grateful that you like them!

I love this! As a fan of the little mermaid I'd love to see you do a video like this of voyage of the little mermaid, especially with the new show replacing it coming later this year to Hollywood studios!

I don’t know where you find this research but it is so interesting!

Digging through forums, watching old videos, and talking to people. I wish part of the research could be that I was there, but alas… :P

I like it! have you thought since you have done belle and the show, doing research on how much does Adam/Beast has been portrait? Like both his human and beast at the parks? I have seen that Adam is more prominent to appear in the foreign parks that’s interesting :p

That really is an interesting topic that I haven’t thought of before now. I think people like to see face characters as often as possible, which makes The Prince more popular. But I’ll have to look into that!

Hot take: the 2021 return should use the Lumiere costume from “Move it Shake It Celebrate It Street Party”, it’s at least, to me, is a more happier version of the character, unlike a certain update to Mrs. Potts.
