This was the first book that really covered exactly what I wanted to know at the time, even though I didn't read it until the mid 2000s. And it wasn't even the exercises so much as Troy's explanations and knowledge within. Great book and he has a few other choice books as well. You nailed it with the pre-TH-cam learning...all books, magazines, CD backing tracks. Lots to be said about that approach, although we are well into the online lesson era. I still get into my books though, to this day.

Absolutely Troy is THE BEST TEACHER..... For me This book is really great, I got a copy and read this book about in 1999 from my friend, unfortunately i have no Cassette and
i just practice from that Book..

I think Part Three of this Book like " Musical Value" is really the best for me at that time , because from it ... I can Tuning my guitar without touching Any fret on the neck..
