Phil Capone is a freakin Legend, his playing is an absolute jaw dropping experience to behold. I have watched him for many years in many bands and duets from Jazz, rock, Country etc. If you want to learn how to be a multi faceted top of the range Guitarist then buy his books and hunt him down in his gigs playing around the Hastings/East Sussex area mainly.

Hi :) there is a very strange mystery next door :)
nobody talks about the harmonic Major/ionian b6
and modes of this scale. You know why?
I don't understand why the harm Major is so .. hidden, taboo, conspiracy of silence :p
What is wrong with harm Major that there is no books, dvds, videos on YT
nobody talks about functional harmony for ionian b6 and his modes
nothing about modal progressions (in context of harm Major)
Even songs list, classical pieces or... anything!
There is nothing :( nowhere, that's why I have a request for you, biiiig request :)
Could you recommend the appropriate literature, any books about this?
Or (if not) share your knowledge with us?
At least one video on harmonic Major but in depth ;D

Hey man well firstly thanks for watching my video. Secondly good point about harmonic major, I’ve studied it a bit myself mainly because influential players such as Allan Holdsworth have used the scale in their playing And of course classical composers have used it for God knows how long however the scale is rarely used in rock. Some modern fusion players like Tom Quayle talk about how harmonic major but again it’s super rare. I’ve not done a specific tutorial about harmonic major scales on my platform at cutting edge guitar, but I do have a tutorial that is all about scales where I document the theory behind harmonic major and have provided loads of fretboard diagrams for the scale and its modes. If you’re interested in finding out more you can check that tutorial out here. www.cuttingedge.guitars/cutting-edge-guitar-scales
      All the best, Anthony. 🤘🏻🎸🔥

@@kukumuniu5658 ok, I’m confused as I’ve opened it with both chrome and safari…maybe some anti virus, or a firewall or something like this is blocking it? I’m not a tech guy so I’ll ask and see if there’s a reason why. Where abouts in the world are you my friend?
