Who knows what could happen if Rick brought her sentient memory inside him back as a human… would it erase her immediately or would something else happen. Ik the Diane robots existed but they were ones who appeared and spoke like her… not the real Diane who appeared just like her in every way.
@@กฤษดากลิ่นพิกุล I mean even tho it was Mortys imagination it was nice seeing Diane Beth and Summer interacting
@3:10 when rick hold Dianes hair to throw up
Man...seeing Rick functioning as a normal person really hurts my heart
It's pretty interesting how we get to see why Rick got together with Diane in the first place, she was a lot like Unity. Basically just an absolute party animal that could take way more than your average human, which seems to be Ricks type.
I feel like this entire episode was just a clever way to write Diane into an episode without using time travel or messing with the main canon too much
Edit: Also Rick finally getting ice cream with Diane and Beth is such a cute nod
It's not clever it's dumb. These new writers are the worst.

Can we just have Rick be happy, god this episode is such a heartbreak
This episode was perfect. The wrting, twists, setting, character development, funny, emotional, weird...
"Why do I have memories of being a human child?!"
Does that mean he's remembering Morty's memories the entire time?
This episode was so good. The twist at the end was so satisfying and terrifying at the same time.
Dianne was a great character, I'm glad they finally had the courage to give her a big part. I hope we'll see her again in season 8.
Rick wasn't scared of messing things up with diane or even bring with her again a second time , he was scared of having to lose her again and wouldn't be able to bear that pain
DON'T FORGET! Morty has all Rick's memories! Do not be mistaken and think that this is his idea of her.
Wouldn't it be possible for Rick to now clone a Diane from the recess of Morty's mind, like he said he could do with memory Rick? Possible chance of Diane coming back is cool
Doubt it. The writers REALLY want to commit to the story being about Rick moving on rather than use the many ways they have to bring her back (and in fact seem committed to destroy the ways they have to bring her back so the fandom stops asking)
Because that wouldn’t be Diane, it just a mere fake of her and Rick is too dam smart to fool himself into think otherwise
@@iepvienredstoneHuy007 yeah but he did it with his daughter, so what's the difference?
@@nullpropShe was an actual clone, Diane wouldnt be in this case, since it wouldn't be a clone, just an inaccurate recreation
@@parkeddoor and he love them both, all the while not knowing which one is the original. Plus he clone her from the original Beth, while the origin Diane is dead
I was confused when I saw this too. But it’s not real. It’s only just a simulation of Diane. They were still inside the Hole. And you know, this also reminds of that one simulation episode they had back in Season 1, only this time now, Morty is real.
The way Sarah chalke says mom makes my skin crawl and just makes that moment hit that much harder.
It's finally she's back 0:33
Them pointing out that Rick's ship has the same voice as Diane and now I can't unhear it
“You did, you died everywhere, forever, you are the only thing I cannot replace.”
Oh my god this is edited so well. Please watch the full episode, everything surrounding it is awesome too. Not spoiling.
0:06 And I thought Rick Prime killed off every Diane in the multiverse of the entire existence.
Well i have a very hard news for you
Let him be....man@@did.u.forgetme
No, I’m pretty sure he only killed that Rick’s Diane because he didn’t get what he wanted
He did. This Diane isn’t real, she’s an illusion created by the Hole in s7 e10

I loved this episode. So many great moments BUT I’m so glad this clip was posted just so I could see the part with the ducks again.😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Time travel to get her back guaranteed.
i like how hard the hole actually tried to reveal Morty's greatest fear to him, and it ended up taking the most on-the-nose attempt to get him to admit it.
As Summer once said, Morty slowly, but eventually catches on.
Seeing Rick almost burst into tears with Diane after the puking was something i never once expected to see. i know its not the show from S1 and S2, but i like the show it is becoming.
1:28 so are we just gonna ignore the interal crisis that robot is having?
This whole episode was insanely well done.
The moment I saw Diane.
Me: Their still in the hole most obviously their still in hole part of being in the hole is making you think you left so that way they can really dig in you.
Well, just Morty was in the Hole. But knowing he had his grandfather’s memories says he got to see his grandmother.
*you died everywhere, forever, you’re the only thing I can’t replace* god Rick always pulls the heart strings, then manages to pull the fart strings in the same episode
1:28, foreshadowing we are in Morty's mind.
The Diane we see and her relationship with fake Rick is pretty close to the real deal since Morty got many of Rick's memories when Evil Morty blew up the Citadel (ending of some season, don't remember which).
Also, doesn't the robot sound exactly like the Computer from DHMIS?
THIS WAS SUCH A GOOD EPISODE! The writer's COOKED. I think this is my second favorite after the rick prime revenge episode.
Its crazy how the hole continues the romantic sub plot for Rick and Diane even when Morty isnt around
Considering that she was erased via the "omega-device" which erased all existences of an entity. It stands to reason that the alpha-device would be able to create or bring anyone into existence.
The alpha device would just be a cloning vat
@@Andrew-ww1hz a clone is a clone. This would be more akin to an infinity gauntlet in terms of creation moreso the fact it would be able to insert the created into all timelines/realities.
The fact that evil Morty told Rick to not find him to improve on the design has me thinking now 🤔
"you died everywhere forever you're the only thing I can't replace"
Last two time loop episodes were the best ones I’ve ever seen
Wow, I'm absolutely shocked that new voice works pretty well.
I can't believe imposter Rick with his creepy imposter laugh almost hooked up with Diane.
Rick pulling Dianne's hair when she vomits is a small detail but it tells a lot about rick and the person whom he probably cared about the most
This series changed my life, please never let it end
I had a lot of reservations about this season because of the Justin roiland debacle. The voices were jarring at first and I had really low expectations of where the show was gonna go with such a dramatic casting change. That being said I’m so glad I stuck it out, this was easily the most complex and vulnerable season of the show. Really cool to see the character development between Rick and morty and Rick himself. The last episode could not have been better imo.
Diane saying "Look at his weird little balls" shows that she is a bad person, just like Rick. It was a match made in heaven
hope they come up with some way to bring diane back for real eventually
Probably not gonna happen. They’re clearly focusing on having Rick let her go and moving on from her death and accepting and finding happiness somehow else
@@yaska7399That's probably true but it's also possible that Rick will try to find some way to reverse engineer the Omega device. We don't really know what the writers have planned for future seasons.
@@NightEnigma8if he does reverse engineer it somehow than all of his character development and growth and acceptance and moving on over the seasons will end up pointless
@@yaska7399True. But you never know with this show.
Its kind of nice seeing rick sorta happy for a moment

In all honesty, this episode sent me into a sleepless night of feeling afraid of losing out on life. I doubt it will make that much of a difference when the opportunity comes, but its impressive to me how powerful such a story can be.
this is what Morty have seen and interpretation .. that hole is actually powerful it it need to continue to simulate rick since he is just a character like everybody in that universe, and this is another lifetime Morty have lived..
Even if it was only a vision from The Hole it was nice to see who Diane was, & Why Rick cared about her so much.
this was a really good episode
That's so wholesome 😂. "My turn, my turn!"
I really liked this episode,it kinda made us see what kind of person diane was,I hope we get to see that more in the next seasons
But how did Morty or the Fear Hole knew how Diane was supposed to be like?
@@passing2010Morty had access to ALL of Rick’s memories at the end of S5

That was Morty’s biggest fear, of being replaced. Unlike Diane who Rick cannot replace, Morty is someone Rick WONT replace
