I don't even know who the target audience for fast food is anymore. It's certainly not poor or middle-class people who are busy. They can't afford over $8 for a sandwich with any degree of frequency. Is it supposed to be for rich people who are pretending to be poor? Or maybe a 'special treat' for middle-class people to have like once a month? It just doesn't make any sense given the quality of the food.
True. When my spouse and I were first married, right after college in the early 2000s (we both put ourselves through college and were VERY poor), our "treat" was $.99 Jumbo Jacks from the Jack in the Box right down the block from our apartment. Now, they are $5.49, or with cheese, they are $5.99. While we are better off now (although not by much, considering how expensive EVERYTHING is), I refuse to pay that much for a basic fast food burger. It's ridiculous.
Not all BK's but there were some that had .99cent Whoppers in the 90's some for a month or so but there was one by me & I ate one a day for a year .99cent.
When fast food places completely forget their role in the food hierarchy lol. Their own employees can’t afford to eat there. And who the f are they marketing to? The only value in fast food that I can see is McDonald’s 2 for $3.69 deal (used to be 2 for $3.49 only weeks ago, but the price went up). I always get a Double Cheese as well as a 6 piece nugget. The best thing on the McDonald’s menu as far as I’m concerned is the Filet o Fish which comes to just over $5 for just the sandwich. I checked my calendar to make sure it was not April first, they want $11.85 for just the burger here around NYC. There is no way I am shelling out 12 bucks at Burger King of all places.
The rapid rise in cost for fast food trash has just pushed me to use local restaurants more. now its not double for decent food its just 2 or 3 dollars more for much better quality food. Though I still do get mcd's breakfast and coffee cause its fast and has a drive through.
I only go to fast food chains these days if they have good deals thru the app. McD has good deals in the app so I go there from time to time. $4 for 2 Double Cheeseburgers is a pretty nice deal nowadays. Although between the pandy and fast food price increases, I’ve become a pretty decent cook, so now I go out to eat way less.

Thanks man for the review. I've been finding out about the new fast food items here. I really don't watch tv, so most of the commercials go right by me. I just found out about the double big mac here on your show. I had no idea they even made it. Thanks.
I bought this burger on a whim about a week ago after pulling up in a drive through and noticing it on their menu. What sold me was, in fact, the garlic aioli. To me, that just makes anything better. I saw "candied bacon" and "bacon jam", yatta yatta... I like that, too, of course. But I think, like my burger, they completely forgot to add the sauce to yours. I took my burger apart and looked for it and saw none. I tasted none. It was still really good! I'll definitely get another! But my heart was kinda set on a little garlicky creaminess added to the flavor, honestly. I'm sure they just forgot to add it.
Everyone's talking about the Limpkin and the landscaper. For me, the garlic aioli review is the best part of the video... "You're going to be let down. You're going to sit there, tears are going to be running down your face and you're going to shake your head and you're going to question everything in life all of a sudden" 😂🤣♥️
I'm surprised at how high this burger was rated, given it's from Burger King. Glad to see that you enjoyed it, it's always a pleasure to see you enjoy your reviews.
Crazy how much prices vary now across the nation. It's $9.39 here in California, I was gonna try it but I backed out of the order when I saw the price. Absolutely insane.
I think a burger with pulled pork on top with four slices of soft bacon would be the burger that wins hearts and minds. It shall be called the Mix Meat Whopper
BK is seriously underrated, but only when you use those coupons and get 2 whopper jr's and 2 fries for 5 bucks. That is my go to when my fast food itch kicks in.
We always use BK coupons if we decide to eat out. And that's once maybe twice a month. We pay 17.49 for 3 whoppers, 3 medium fries and 3 cheeseburgers! Can't beat that! Who can afford regular prices? We have 5 in our family or more when my kids drop in for dinner. We use 2 coupons!
Just used a buy one get one coupon for any breakfast sandwich at Wendys. If i didn't have that i wouldn't have bothered going. I'm doing what i wish everyone would do, and that is speak with your wallet and refuse to pay these insane prices.
The concept sounds great, but it would be even better if the price were lower (perhaps somewhere in the $6 range, to match the price of a McD Big Mac away from Connecticut rest stops?).
I really like the edition of background noises like the birds and outdoor tools. It cements the classical laid back sounds from real life outdoor activities and makes it more like an asmr based off the coast of florida somewhere. Isn't that where these are filmed?
I saw that in my BK yesterday. About $12.50 for the meal. I'll have to try it next time. btw, my BK improved dramatically since I wrote corporate and complained about lack of quality. All good now lol.
@@lorihoffman4281 yesssss. well, they don't want a failing store, it's bad for profit, it's bad for brand reputation. i am sure these places send inspections now and then, and especially if there are serious or multiple complains.
The aioli doesn't really belong with those other ingredients...however an aioli is traditionally a garlic mayo so calling it a garlic aioli is redundant.
It’s redundant, except that for some reason, here in the USA people seem to think “aioli” means “any flavored mayonnaise of any flavor whatsoever.” I find that bizarre, but it seems to be what we’re stuck with.
If you want to be really technical AFAIK aioli isn’t the same thing as mayo because it uses the garlic itself as the emulsifier instead of egg yolk like mayo does. I could be wrong about that though.
Considering how unhealthy fast food is, it is probably much better that it is too expensive so people either don’t eat it or eat it far less frequently.
Working with what burgerking can do in store.. shoestring oinion fries, maple bacon, smoked guda cheese and pickles with thin tomato. Use a mayosiracha-honey sauce and crisp romaine lettuce would be killer.
My go-to item from BK is the Whopper Jr. On road trips, I'll get an Impossible Whopper. After watching this, I plan on looking up info on that bird - we don't seem to have those in Upstate NY
Burger King does have something similar to a special sauce in their Zesty Sauce for their Onion Rings which is vastly under-utilized by the chain. It is excellent not only on O-Rings, but fries and sandwiches as well. Also, their onions are the most potent thing they put on their sandwiches, they make your breath smell like onion for a week.
If you have an idea to make the Whopper even better, keep it to yourself, get a loan, open a restaurant and start selling it. Don't give these giant corporations that have exploited you your entire lives any help.
8.9! I can't say I've ever seen a score that high as of late. Am excited to try this out! It's about time a fast food chain released an item that you can enjoy and not feel like you threw away your money on something just to relieve your hunger. Kudos!
I'd rate it about half that, didn't really care for it. Candied bacon can be very good, what BK is using hits the candy part well but the smoky/salty bacon is almost imperceptible even when eating just the bacon when it's barely there. The sweetness should accent the bacon and not overwhelm it. It wasn't terrible but I have no desire to have it a second time.

Report doesn’t understand but when u post u brighten up people day I just want to say thanks for that
About a month ago I started bringing my lunch to work every day. I can’t afford fast food anymore. It’s getting out of control.
prob better for your health
I legit wouldn't click on these videos anymore if it weren't for Reviewbrah. I just don't care about fast food now
Where else can you get a burger review and ornithology facts? 10 out of 10
I bought this burger on a whim about a week ago after pulling up in a drive through and noticing it on their menu.
Banana peppers, pepper jack cheese and yellowbird habanero sauce. Spicy whopper done right.
It's actually a really good sandwich, you should try it :)
At my local BK in a suburb outside of Tampa, it's $6.59 for the burger and $10.39 for a small meal.
Same here in the suburbs in Chicago
Crazy how much prices vary now across the nation. It's $9.39 here in California, I was gonna try it but I backed out of the order when I saw the price. Absolutely insane.
@@KSKaleido lol just try it don’t be cheap it’s not going to hurt you going to make the money back
@@Baja2424it gonna hurt you.... your health 😅😅😅
@@dragonleg8700 what are you talking about I don’t eat fast food I just said don’t be cheap if you want to try it
INSANE PRICE.
I thought it would be two patties at least
I think a burger with pulled pork on top with four slices of soft bacon would be the burger that wins hearts and minds. It shall be called the Mix Meat Whopper
I can get a small steak at a restaurant for $8. Fast food is irresponsibly expensive the last 3 years.
@UltraNegro347 cheap steak>cheaper burger
An $8 steak? That’s not exactly fine dining.
thanks joe
@@richardvinsen2385 is Burger King you goon? Never said it was fine dining if you are capable of reading.
"steak"
"lettuce, tomato.. crispy onion.. and garlic - aoli?"
You can't convince me this isn't Christopher Walken's grandson or something 😅
BK is seriously underrated, but only when you use those coupons and get 2 whopper jr's and 2 fries for 5 bucks. That is my go to when my fast food itch kicks in.
They’re buns are ridiculous 🥯
The rant about garlic aioli. Love it! Thank you for the report!❤
Smart, I need to take advantage of coupons more.
I started using the apps because atleast I get deals and free food after spending $15 for a meal.
Just used a buy one get one coupon for any breakfast sandwich at Wendys. If i didn't have that i wouldn't have bothered going. I'm doing what i wish everyone would do, and that is speak with your wallet and refuse to pay these insane prices.
It’s crazy that they only let you use one coupon per order at some fast food places
@@Seisenberg Arby's is the only one I know of that lets me use as many as I want.
My little Parrot started freaking out when she heard the limp-kin bird. I might be spelling it wrong, but that is golden. I love the sound. ❤
I envy his small bites and appreciating the time to eat a $25 fast food burger. I’d have downed it in 4 bites I’m sure but that’s $12 a bite.
$6.25 a bite
He looked like he is pain when he takes a bite.
Are you a shark? 😂
The concept sounds great, but it would be even better if the price were lower (perhaps somewhere in the $6 range, to match the price of a McD Big Mac away from Connecticut rest stops?).
Hey brother I just wanted to let you know that I really enjoy your reviews. Keep up the good work my man. Have a great day
Lovely setting for this review
It's been far too long since I last watched one of these. Glad to see you again, ReviewBrah
Thanks for supreme content, reviewbrah!
Preach, hope burger kings fries are next for a makeover, for 14 dollars those fries are another pain point that prevents me from getting a meal
Yes, it was all for you!
@@lorihoffman4281 yesssss. well, they don't want a failing store, it's bad for profit, it's bad for brand reputation. i am sure these places send inspections now and then, and especially if there are serious or multiple complains.
I like burger
Love the outside reviews, hope we get to see a lot more of them as the weather permits.
LOL! Your $10M burger idea is GOLD! LOL!!!! I do so dig your sense of humor!
10M=113 #datichaintworthapennyinmibook
I think a lot of people missed that. Or aren't old enough to remember. 😅 Deadpan delivery . Killed it.
I love how flawlessly he just continues the review with the interuptions.
Anytime I see him reach for a black napkin I'm like, damn this is a classy video
That bird makin' us all laugh
Bro, you need to eat better food.
Your teeth will fall out if you continue to eat dog poo.
The way Review Brah powered through this video against the noise of the leaf blower and bird inspires me to do better in life, much, much better❤
You have a limpkin near your house, but I have a limp Bizkit locked in my basement.
Calm down Eminem
don’t worry, no one is gonna miss that Limp Bizkit 😂
8:06 , the Limpkin bird 🐦 is crying for help, the landscaper is destroying his habitat
Limpkin burger should be topped with escargots!

Love these reviews
Love your videos but I really admire your tie selections.
When he said candied beacon my eyes in fact did go like this 👀
6:53 I was hearing this video in the background &I though my roomba had something jammed in it lol
Im done with fast food prices. Ill go to a real restaurant with real food
I like the Mexican Bagpipes in the background!! Like all my Zoom meetings never fails
7:08 how did he make the bird stop with his MIND
Working with what burgerking can do in store.. shoestring oinion fries, maple bacon, smoked guda cheese and pickles with thin tomato. Use a mayosiracha-honey sauce and crisp romaine lettuce would be killer.
Culver’s, hands down, has the best burgers in the fast food industry
_Also: I’ve been to In-N-Out and Whataburger_
I’ve eaten various things at Culver’s but not yet a burger…
Not really fast food but Kopps in Milwaukee slaps Culver’s. Culver’s is the goat in fast food for sure.
My go-to item from BK is the Whopper Jr. On road trips, I'll get an Impossible Whopper. After watching this, I plan on looking up info on that bird - we don't seem to have those in Upstate NY
I can remember when a six dollar burger was the most monster burger anyone sold in fast food. Now six dollars is a super small burger.
Please go out and vote accordingly.....
How idealistic
How insipid. @@jahsina
8.9! I can't say I've ever seen a score that high as of late. Am excited to try this out! It's about time a fast food chain released an item that you can enjoy and not feel like you threw away your money on something just to relieve your hunger. Kudos!
One bite, everybody knows the rules.
It's $6.99 for the sandwich, here in Texas.
Here in Mass, for the cost of that burger I can just about purchase a restaurant one.
I'm a little surprised that no one else has thought of Reviewbrah's $10 million idea before now.
