Hey I’m obviously not Lee and not a professional but I am a fellow teen and bow hunter and my first bow was a bear cruzer G2 it’s not a Mathew’s or a top of the line bow by any means but it gets the job done and being a broke teenager it’s a great price.
Also not Lee… if you go to a bow shop near you, (if your have one) they can definitely hook you up. They will have used bows or even new bows for whatever kind of budget you have.
Honestly the bow doesn’t matter as long as you are comfortable shooting and poundage is high enough to ethically harvest what your hunting bows can get expensive now talking 1500$ all said and done not counting tree stand and your camo but if money isn’t an issue then Ik Lee uses the Matthew’s lift!

Was that a Double Bull ground blind you were hunting out of? Great hunt and congrats on the buck!!!! A lot of Bow Hunters in Texas will slip in the brush like you did. Smart move!! I have had to use that maneuver many a time due to wind direction. Glad you enjoyed bow hunting in Texas.

New to the channel and you guys make me have even worse buck fever. In the food way. I wanna buy more cams. Wanna take more observation trips. Hang more stands and just enjoy more of the outdoors here in Washington state.
Did my first door knock for permission to pursue a big 5.5 yr old my buddy got a cam, we dubbed. Topsy. A main frame 8 with im guessin probly 10-12 inch g2s, with a small kicker of the left side g2..
The last month he's been nocturnal. Only cams pics we have is after dark. And bout an hr before shooting light..
What are some pointers u can advise we can get him up later in the day and stick around. We got some good bed areas and good natural food sources..
Winds are in our favor most of the time..
Just tryin to get this guy in front of one of us during shooting hours..

That was a pretty high shot but you must of still got some lung. Nice. Had to go look online to see how high they go on a large deer, and was surprised to see that lung goes that high on some deer.
