The people that designed this thing are truely evil. I had to open mine 3 times in the last year and the hoops I have to jump through just to reach its inner parts are just insane.. Next time I'm buying a Siemens. No more Jura machines for me from now on. Thanks for the video though 😀
My thoughts exactly as I am working on mine for the first time. Why is it so impossibly hard to get inside the machine to clean it? I love the coffee, perhaps time to get a Siemens as well.
@@timjames7862 They designed it this way to make it harder to repair it yourself like a lot of evil manufacturers do and have done for give or take the last century. Basically they do this to fill their own pockets as a consumer that's technically competent to repair one of these is contrary to their interest so they hire an engineer to make opening these things up nearly impossible, hence my comment about this company being evil.. They want you to drink the Kool-Aid and be just another ignorant consumer which is in THEIR best interest (not yours as a consumer!) and be dependent on THEIR helpdesk, THEIR "service" and their parts, charging a sh!t tonne of money for their branded non-sense.. Same old, same old.. But no sir, I will not falter. I will not fail. I shall PREVAIL! 🤓 All semi-serious jokes aside: My advise is to just keep the side-lid off once you're fortunate enough to get it off that is. I did this after a few times of struggling to open it up. Mine sits right next to my fridge making the missing side panel invisible. Now I can just shove it aside and clean it. I had to do this to the insides four times last year. She's getting a bit old and worn out you know but she continues working if I clean her every once in awhile ;-)
