How many people are getting sick from this dangerous money grab, and have no idea their Jura coffee machine is responsible? Thanks for the video, it was very helpful. I wish Jura would make it easy to remove the brew unit - they just want us to return the machine for 'official' service. I know it looks bad but the coffee that comes out of the machine doesn't come through the gunk, so little chance we'll be getting sick from it. The chamber itself is cleaned by the machine. Of course, using the official cheap (ahem!) Jura tablets. And then there's the 'smart' water filter that I've complained to Jura about because it's about time they were more environmentally friendly and allowed us to refill them ourselves. They did actually say that there's a new product coming that addresses this. We can live in hope!
I disassembled and cleaned the entire brewer unit. Put it back together and turned the machine back on. Now, when brewing coffee the water just falls into the drip tray behind the unit, not touching the coffee grinds. The coffee grinds then fall, dry, into the drip tray. Any ideas on what went wrong? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have a Jura Ena 8.
Hi, das habe ich noch nicht an der Maschine durchgeführt aber ich vermute das man da ganz gut von Innen, nachdem die BRühgruppe raus ist drankommen sollte. Oder vllt. von der anderen Seite? Vllt. mache ich mal hierzu auch ein Video.. jedoch nicht mehr dieses Jahr :)

@@unique_is_back an sich nicht da du wahrscheinlich stellen meinst an denen der Kaffee der in der Tasse landen soll nicht vorbei kommt. An manche stellen kommt man auch gut mit einem Pinsel gut dran. Am besten ein kleines Sortiment organisieren.. so hab ich es auch gemacht ;)

Hi und danke für deinen Kommentar. Bin mir gerade nicht so sicher bezüglich der hinteren Schraube, könnte auch eine T15 gewesen sein. Von innen sah die Brüheinheit nicht unbedingt schlimmer aus. Gerade da wo der Kaffee verdichtet und gebrüht wird sah es sehr gut und sauber aus -der Teil wird ja auch immer ausreichend gespült. Problem ist immer nur der leichte Austritt von Kaffee und Flüssigkeit an Stellen wo dieser eigentlich nicht raus sollte... Hier hilft nur ab und an mal manuelles Reinigen. Ich hatte zwar mir einen Dichtungssatz bestellt, habe aber keine Dichtung ersetzen müssen da alle noch sehr gut aussahen -werde ich bei der nächsten Wartung in ~2J. ersetzen.
Stimmt, die Schraube ist grösser! Da stört halt dieses Teil davor, das man nicht wegschieben kann. Ziemlich fummelig, aber ich werde es schaffen. 😁👍🏻 nochmal vielen Dank, vor allem auch für die zusätzlichen Info. Das beruhigt, dass ich die nicht jedes Jahr komplett werde zerlegen müssen und darauf vertrauen kann, dass die von innen besser aussieht. 😊
With all this dirt some new life can come into being (fungus etc). Not so sure about manufacture's policy not letting the users to clean this on their own regularly...
Found this on a Reddit thread. Surprised it's hidden away like this... Trick is to take out the water tank (so it shows the screen asking you to put it back), then hold down the two buttons on the right side of the screen (the circle button and the line button right below).
Concise tear down instructions. Personally, for the small additional cost, I would also change the clear pipework.

Hi, da sich in der Maschine bei jedem Brühvorgang sehr viel Kondensat bildet ist das meiste aus Kunststoff oder Edelstahl ausgeführt.
