Thanks for Info but One correction required, Intended entry point should be same as mentioned in your visa, otherwise airline will not allow you to board flight if your entry point is HCM in visa and you are entering vietnam through Hanoi or any other city.

Is it a 30 day visa or calculated from a date (say 15th) in a month to the same day (15th) of the next month? That is, if the visa begins on, for example, 15th of November, will it end on 15th of December? Or will 30 days be calculated from the 15th (included) of November which will make the last date of visa as 14th of November?
You day of entry would be the 1st day, from then to 30th day.
Last day would be 13th in this case as October has 31 days

I had one question here for a trip we are about to do. We plan to be in Vietnam for the full duration of the visa which is 30 days. Is it advisable to keep a day's buffer and book return flight on 29th day...just in case of any flight cancellation etc on the 30th day? Or is it okay to stay back till the 30th day and take a return flight on the last day? From your intro, i think you are planning to take your return flight on the 30th day, right? Await your thoughts on this. Thanks!

Hi, need some urgent advice with a unique visa situation. My wife and I had travel plans for one month to Vietnam (Nov 22nd to Dec 21st) for which we applied and got the visa.
But due to an unexpected family health problem, we have to cancel/postpone our trip till mid-December, maybe flying out on 13th Dec. But we will still be going for a month, so the current visa will not give us enough time and need a fresh one.
So while our current visa is valid till 21st December, can we apply for another visa from Dec 13th to Jan 12th? Of course, we won't be using our first visa at all.
Please advise on this at the earliest. Will they approve it or are there any chances of their turning our fresh application down? Thanks!

Nobody asks you for return ticket if you’re going to Vietnam, but for Thailand they’d ask before boarding. If anyone asks you for a return ticket from Vietnam at india airport, tell them it’s not needed, and be stern.

Yea, this process is only for single entry, apply for multiple entry from embassy if you want multiple, or through travel agent website, or just look for it on internet

But why would you stay at the airport? It’s not as big as Bangkok or KL, so nothing to do at the airport, better take a hotel, hotels are very cheap.

Abhi to 3 hi din hue hain, 5 working days tak bhi lag rahe hain aj kal because of huge rush. Agar flight se ek din pehle tak nahi aur to embassy chale jana, wahan kuch fees lete hain aur same day yahi wala visa process ho jayega

Thailand or combodia ka sticker visa apply kar raha hu koi problem nahi is main but Vietnam bus se jana chahata hu sticker visa le kar to flight ticket dummy kar ke apply Karu koi dikkat to nahi sticker visa lene ke liye baad mil jaye to ek fight Bach jayegi
Why do you need sticker visa? And you don’t need to show flight bookings in any case, just visit the embassy and check.

You will get a 30 day visa from the date of arrival, within those 30 days you can enter & exit anytime.

best thing is always get visa first before booking fligh because sometime its take time, when i applied i got it withing 3 days

You will get a one month visa irrespective of your travel dates from your date of entry.

Visit the embassy, right now it’s taking a lot of time to process, at the embassy you can pay urgent fees and get it processed.
