You are doing a lot to bring a renewed interest in bottle collecting. While I like your creek walks the best I understand the need to seek other locations. Thanks for what you do.
Holy Cow Brandon !!!! That's the honey hole right there. What awesome finds you guys xame up with in this one. My only issue would be trying to make myself stop digging for the day. I would be the fool trying to find my way out, in the dark, with arms full of bottles🕯Thank you Brandon for all your hard work to keep us entertained and as always thanks for taking us along.
I'm pretty sure Willie, over on Dirty Secrets of Scotland, has dug many California Fig Syrup bottles in his favorite digging spot. That stuff sure did get around!
I love the camaraderie among you guys as you dig. 😀😀 I have learned so much about bottles and other artifacts that makes garage saling and thrifting so much more fun! 🤠🤠👩🎓 I'm just trying to imagine the conversation more than 100 years ago, "Nah, just throw it in with the rest of the trash. Will burn it anyway and it's not like somebody's going to be digging through our trash.." 100 years later: a group of guys out digging bottles out of the trash and enjoying each other's company. 😂😂 Can't wait to see the next video!❤❤❤❤
We’ve been suffering from too many folks walking the creeks so the finds haven’t been abundant enough to get content. We’re trying to find new locations.
I think I would take a long handled fishing net. When y'all get that deep in the hole it sure would be helpful for getting the bottles out. Love these videos!
Would love that shirt because I absolutely love watching your videos and you and Brenton are hilarious together definitely makes my day better when I watch your videos and even though I don't have a fish tank love learning new things and have help a few of my friends out that do thank you for all the videos and I can't wait to see the Coral tank in a few months once they all grow in a little bit absolutely beautiful
Thank you so much for making a longer video!! LUXOR they probably did pronounce the "X" it would have been the height of the Egyptian revival right after Carter found mummies.
Amazing video! It's so fun seeing different and new bottles on the channel! I found that same amber Rawleigh's last summer in a river, so that was a neat connection. Keep being awesome!
Great dig guy’s a lot of hard work 😓 I have to say this was one amazing bottle after another. Some I know I have not seen! I have watched a few digs but not like this. Have a fantastic weekend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I use to go treasure hunting for old bottles .I had a big collection at one time .but had a house fire an lost them .I had the amber colored Clorox bottles an tons of blue med.bottles an wish I could still go .but am disabled an can't go .I know of three dump sites .an where an old dr.pepper plant was on a hill .now they turned into a nature park but this site was off to one side of the trail . An I never got to go to the other dump sites .good luck with u digging .here in ala.i watch u channel all the time .u need to get up around Winston county .
I absolutely love all your videos! It is so good to learn new things and you are very informative. When the doll came out that had Nippon on the back, I believe it was Randy who told you that meant Japan. You asked if he had been stationed there and he said no, he'd been in South Korea. I am curious ,what branch of service was he in? I was Air Force and spent a year at Kunsan Air base in South Korea, from Nov. 1974 to Nov. 1975. Please tell him "Thank you for your service" from me.
Hey Brandon I'm jealous awesome bottles man . If Matt has his fall hunt hope to meet you there been following your channel for a long time. I don't usually comment but I love to watch all the cool bottles you find I also hunt for bottles here in Virginia and have yet to find a hutch maybe sometime soon best of luck to you my friend
Ok, now I’m going to start walking the creek on our land! Its about 14’ deep. In some areas, it’s down to bed rock. There has to be some interesting stuff in there somewhere. Lol. Lots of bullets for sure! Lol
Have ya'll ever considered doing guided digs for tourists? Sort of like those mines where you can pay an entry fee and dig around and keep what you find. Ya'll would do the bulk of the digging though and the tourist would dig a bit and find stuff. I bet people would pay good money to do that. Just need to make people sign waivers etc. Anyway, excellent finds this video, that crusty railroad lantern is really cool! Too bad you probably wouldn't be able to remove the rust without destroying it, but it actually looks interesting as is. Sort of like having a gem in situ in the matrix even though the host rock might not be that pretty.
Pretty Deep! Getting in n out of a hole that deep probably challenging. Title said 100 year old map lead us to spot... can we hear about that? How you pinpoint it? Thanks
We use The sanborn maps to triangulate areas that weren’t ever used in the past. This was a huge open area near a creek and embankment so it pointed us in the right direction.
I realize it's been a couple of months since you posted this, and I didn't go back through comments, but I was wondering if the bottle you found that you thought said "mucilace" was actually mucilage, which is a type of glue. I really enjoy your vids.
Nippon was the word that Japan put on things madin Japan for a long time until the US made them change it to JAPAN after the was so US citizens would know what it was. NIPON or Sometimes NIPPON is what JAPAN called itself.
The exotic-sounding name Luxor, with its connotations of the mysteries of ancient Egypt was, in fact, created by one of those meatpacking companies that Upton Sinclair had spoken so despairingly about. It was a brand created by the Chicago-based Armour & Company as a device to sell the by-products of the animals it killed. Taken from Luxor the brand born in blood. collectingvintagecompacts.blogspot.com/2015/02/the-history-of-luxor-cosmetics-brand.html?m=1

Brandon , my favorite for the day would have to be the Pratt City drug . Keep them coming .
Mine too!
Me too!
Absolutely love the LaPages Mucilage bottle.
That little Blue Bottle, is an Evening In Paris bottle. They had many shapes and sizes, all that color blue. I have a small collection of them.
Their find was of a different color & shape that I've not encountered. I have several sizes myself, but none like theirs.
Great video this morning. All kind of history coming up. You all take care with this heat wave
Great finds great friends great times
Great job!!! Keep them coming enjoy everyone.

Grreetings! Up here in Michigan. I found an OD Chem Co bottle just like that. There was a printing business, that operated on the premises.
I'm pretty sure Willie, over on Dirty Secrets of Scotland, has dug many California Fig Syrup bottles in his favorite digging spot. That stuff sure did get around!

Love to see you getting the treasures!
Enjoyed but my favorites are the creek walks, hope to see more of those this summer.
We’ve been suffering from too many folks walking the creeks so the finds haven’t been abundant enough to get content. We’re trying to find new locations.
I started digging old stuff since 7th grade now i'm gonna be in tenth grade you have inspired me man.
I think I would take a long handled fishing net. When y'all get that deep in the hole it sure would be helpful for getting the bottles out. Love these videos!
Great day congratulations
Wow! It's been awhile since you have had such a generous dig site. Can't wait til next week!
I look forward to your videos every week. The only thing I can ever fault them for is they are too short. Lol😂 Stay safe and God Bless
Excellent! Can’t wait for part two!
It’s wayyyy better 😉
Awesome video Brandon
Enjoying watching y’all dig up bottles fascinating. When you pronounce Illinois, the S is silent.

Hi Brandon Lepage glue is a very common make of glue in Canada maybe US as well I believe its been around a very long time
We can still find it here in the States. Mucilage just means thick/gluey substance!
Brandon and friends thank you for the adventure and seeing some amazing finds ! Looking forward to the next video !
it's always nice when you find that one spot that keeps on giving lol. Amazing stuff boys keep up the good work !!!!
Man the next day after this one was a game changer. Thinking we’ve got a year of dig time here!

Epic dig! I look forward to part two. Great crew here, but where's Clayton?
He’s at a internship in Atlanta!
What a haul!
Awesome just is not a strong enough word to describe the beauty of this hole! Great work guys...love it! ♥
It gets much better in next weeks episode!
Very good hole
I've seen bottles like that Bludol that had the label sealed under another panel of glass.

He was Air Force as well. I believe he was in during the 80s And I will tell him!
California Fig Syrup seems to have been popular in England too. I’ve watched Si Finds dig them as well.
They were created by the millions!

I’ll be there if he has it!
@@adventurearchaeology awesome hope to meet you there
La Pages cold metal Mucilage. I believe was a type of glue or adhesive.
Some really sweet finds, Brandon!❤

Wow what a day
😊😊😊😊😊
I know of 2 places you can find this kind of glass , Springfield IL old dump from the 1940's
Get a hand spade when getting closer to uncovering. Using spade may damage bottle
Watch the full video next week to find out why we don’t do that.
I realize it's been a couple of months since you posted this, and I didn't go back through comments, but I was wondering if the bottle you found that you thought said "mucilace" was actually mucilage, which is a type of glue. I really enjoy your vids.
What a hole! How does that stuff get so doggone deep?
Little blue one looks to be evening in Paris
Just curious. What map shows you a dump in the middle of the woods? Never seen a dump listed on any maps before.
The map tells us where not to look……. Reverse the process and you’ll find success……
Mucilage is a kind of glue. Thick and gooey.
Do you ever metal detect the same areas you hunt for bottles?
I was wondering if you camp out and go back to digging in the morning? I would be to tired to drive home lol
I have to have a shower after a day like this one 😂😂
Nippon is an antique Japanese made doll
I think you are looking at an old pharmacy so there are a lot of medicine packages😂😂😂😂
Looks like an old outhouse pit.
How can it be that you have so many bottles buried all these locations
Every town had a dump…… research is key 😎
Would you be willing to sell the Dr. Tichenor’s bottle?
One of the other guys found it so I’ll have to find out who haha! I can’t remember!
Did they spell alcohol on everything back in the day with a "k" like that small bottle in the beginning of the video?
Nippon was what Japan was called at one time
Musilige was a type of glue.
Nippon... used to indicate country of origen... in 1921, the word Japan began use.
Great info!
IL lin Noy
Franco- American Spaghettios!
“Nippon” stands for “Japan”
Hii
Nice lightning rod stem at the 14:20 time frame.. sometimes the balls are still on them…
Looks like one however it was a type of wire.
Dang I was so close.
Not being able to pronounce french, because of a southern accent. Suddenly Louisiana enters the chat.😂😂
😅😅😅
Nippon was the word that Japan put on things madin Japan for a long time until the US made them change it to JAPAN after the was so US citizens would know what it was. NIPON or Sometimes NIPPON is what JAPAN called itself.
Wish I could bottle digging again
