The joy on Maranda's(sorry about spelling) face when she found the 3 barrels was amazing. It made my day. Thanks you all for including us in your adventures, super educational. Again thanks for getting this home bound body into the wild for some fun.
Oh, a kitty!! I hope you had some kitty snacks with you. And I am curious, that when you get down to a bottle that, you don't switch tools to a hand digger to avoid breaking one. You guys are excellent diggers and really know how to use shovels, so maybe you don't need to switch, but I know what would happen if I was in the same place with the same bottles. I shudder to think!! Love your videos!!
Great Dig. I watch all your videos. Just haven't commented very often. I want you to know that I really enjoy watching you and your wife and your friends searching. Genuine appreciation.
Brandon that was a fun adventure bottle digging! I like the history that you give us the fun commentary between you and the gang and I liked it this video was a little bit longer😊 Happy digging happy creek walking. I don’t care if you’re digging in a bottle dump or walking through the creek or taking us metal detecting I enjoy all your videos💙
Thank you Brandon and Miranda for the adventure and seeing some amazing finds ! I finally got to watch the whole video ! I sometimes have problems with internet service out here in the boonies of Kansas !
Love the new intro! Morphing it into some of the coolest bottles I've seen y'all dig was perfect. That pretty kitty at the beginning brought ya good luck! 😺
Brandon, you and Miranda are like an old married couple...lol...all the comments back and forth. "You make me nervous" You said it's broken , she said no its whole ...but it was actually broken. Funny stuff.
I have always said in tge right situation shovels are time machines. Cool video today thanks for taking us along on this adventure. Love that Pepsi would sure be a nice glass when it is finished. Was the cat inspecting everyone's work?
I have a creek about a half mile from my house and I want to walk it, and then a great dig video and I want to dig. Thank you so much for doing these video's.
Awesome dump dig!! I never did it like yous do it. I see it's alot of hard work. I love to see you & Miranda in the dump! Go have fun in the creeks, if yous need to. Very cool finds! Rk.
Mega video, thanks for taking me along on that adventure, keep up the good work, you can really see how far the editing has come along the last few video you guys should be proud 🤙🏼
Terrific editing. Love seeing the bottles cleaned up! Now, could you show us the before and after of your jeans cleaned up?😅 Just kidding! Lol. Love the vids❤ Thank you for sharing with us.
Wow, that was a wonderful intro!---As a nurse, those mag citrate bottles are fascinating, and you betcha, I looked up glyco-heroin! (The ketchup bottles are still my favorite tho'!)---Am I the only one who wonders how you get your hair & clothing clean after you get home? And how do you protect the truck seats?!
Love the videos. Most of the dumps I get on are shallow ash dumps (stoves ashes mostly) accidentally found metal detecting. Nothing like the big holes you all dig.
@@adventurearchaeology yep. A lot of steel was made in Birmingham. I'm not sure about today though. I live in PA right now but I have family in B'ham and I know a little bit about the area. I lived for a short while in Center Point.
I live in a small town in northeast Alabama next to a big drainage ditch next to a old railroad track and undoubtedly there was a dump or something nearby and we find little flat bottles in it all the time just looking over in it while cutting grass. I don't dig but there's no telling what all is in there.
Glyco-Heroin, produced by the Martin H. Smith Co. in New York, combined heroin with sugar syrup and was sold as a treatment for coughs, bronchitis, asthma, laryngitis, pneumonia and whooping cough.
The pronunciation as "sy trate" is quite common across the South. So rather than a traditional mispronunciation, it's a regional pronunciation. For example, in the MA area you can hear Cuba pronounced so that it sounds more like "Cuber." It's regional. "Measure" is another word that has wide regional differences.

Those are all amazing bottles.
I'm guessing the cat takes care of the snakes. Nice finds there everyone
I learned so much from this. Thank you!
Where in the heck did the cat come from?! lol
Terrific editing. Love seeing the bottles cleaned up!
Now, could you show us the before and after of your jeans cleaned up?😅
Just kidding! Lol.
Love the vids❤
Thank you for sharing with us.
With Tristan you ask him to cut a bit off the price and he cuts a bit off the bottle instead 😞🍻
😂
Who's kitty? Miranda was kicking your butt on the dig.
That’s the dump kitty we talked about 2 weeks ago!
Awesome finds. I saw that poison at the Gardendale show. Very interesting bottle
Yep! That was the same one!
Hey Miranda? Did you ever think you'd be digging in the pits like Brandon, looking (and finding) for those amazing old bottles 😃
Go get em girl!!!!
Nice video!
There might be some good digging and creek walking in Trussville area.
I just have this thing with the Aqua's ...they're so pretty! Second fav would be Cobalt!

Great video Brandon. Be careful though as the apprentice Melinda is taking over!
Those tree frogs sound awesome in the background at your place.
Those are locusts haha
Killer finds as always brother! If yall ever towards west KY hit me up. Got some good creeks to walk here 💪
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
It's interesting how Pittsburgh has Iron City Beer and B'ham has Iron City bottles. Just thought I'd mention that.
Birmingham was known as Iron City as well. A lot of people do not realize that!
@@adventurearchaeology yep. A lot of steel was made in Birmingham. I'm not sure about today though. I live in PA right now but I have family in B'ham and I know a little bit about the area. I lived for a short while in Center Point.
The bee poison was my favorite.
Who's cat
You can hear the cicadas in the background when you are showing the bottles cleaned up!
That’s after I worked on the audio too! I used Boise cancellation on this video because you could barely hear me talking!
Pop's here. I hope you have second washing machine to wash your clothes you dig in..
The only hutch I have is an Iron City Bottling with a 1 on the bottom. I seem to find more meds than i do sodas.

It may be loaded!
How do I get to your listing of bottles for sale and the cups you make
❤
I like the followups mixed into the video … probably takes longer for you to edit though
Heroin was not a controlled substance many years ago as was arsenic. Both were used as medicine. Edgar Allen Poe, the poet, was addicted to both.
Glyco-Heroin, produced by the Martin H. Smith Co. in New York, combined heroin with sugar syrup and was sold as a treatment for coughs, bronchitis, asthma, laryngitis, pneumonia and whooping cough.
Will you show your Whiskey glasses.
We've shown them in quite a few of our past videos but ill try to remember to show some in the next few weeks in my next edit.
In for first comment 😆
What's the cat doing there?
11:23 it’s hard to imagine there was a time you could just walk into a store and buy heroin or cocaine
Crazy right?!
Cut them beers down to glasses and have your logo sand blasted on them.
Those unusable historic relic’s could be repurposed… into Wind Chimes!! You might endorse gloves and trowels, I’d follow your lead to pay heed.
It’s pronounced “SIT TRATE” not SY TRATE” you don’t say SY TRUS FRUIT DO YOU?
SY CO 😲🍻

Has anyone ever told you to mind your own business
Stop your bickering guys! You sound like Miranda and Brandon 😀!
@@MarciaShackelford-st5bt 17 years of marriage will do that to you haha
