Jordan Fish can do anything, he can write songs, produce, conduct and provide insanely good backing vocals. A musical genius.

It breaks heart hearing Oli sing live. He's still amazing, but he needs a break to rest from this. He's such an amazing singer and its sad this has to happen, from screaming to long and not taking long enough breaks. He just seems to never give up. Bring me the horizon means everything to him...

for those of you concerned about the expressions- he WAS in severe physical pain while doing this because he had throat surgery but he cares baout the band so much that he still put his heart into this performance. his voice has recovered now. idk about you guys but i think its pretty amazing what he acheived

The ending is breathtaking. Youll see him screaming but you hear the chill crowd voice. This, at least for me, brings to Show how calm, meaningful and "non brutal" the message of most screaming Bands are. Cause like Everyone i know is like "ehh so brutal, all this hate and shit" even though most of my friends cant speak proper english so they dont understand the lyrics

Josh Cave you have a point, I do scream to do covers infrount of my friends and to have a laugh and it does end up really hurting, I found that the best way to help it not hurt as much when you scream is to drink walm water, I know it sounds weird and tastes funny but it doesn't hurt or break your voice as much and it makes it easier...but each to there own

I saw them late last year, their live shows are still very heavy. Clearly not as heavy as they once were but heavier then any album they have released in ages.
i actually like new BMTH, i hate Mother Tongue for example but like Sugar Honey Ice & Tea, Ludens, Wonderful Life and Heavy Metal are cool af, you can’t deny it

I suffer from severe mental illness and the connection of emotion the crowd manifests gives me goosebumps, and the numbness fades, and for just a bit I can feel for once. And it's a blessing now I have reassurance to think back on when my numbness returns i know I'm no longer a empty shell I'm not always this way. this beautiful connection of people gives me feeling and that alone I know I'm going to be alright... thanks oli and the rest of the set.

Mia Lexii I don't believe you were wrong. Oliver's voice cracked at a performance while he was performing a song that required a lot of high vocal ranges and his voice cracked so bad that it damaged his vocal chords.
This is just so wholesome. Everyone understands that it is hard and painful to still bring this song because of his voice. The crowd loved it nonetheless and was really supportive
Oli is such a better vocalist now. He's at the peak of his powers now, saw him sing Diamonds Arent Forever, Empire, Antivist and Shadow Moses a couple of weeks ago along with the new stuff. He learned how to scream properly without destroying his throat lol.

When done correctly no pain when you do it with all throat no gut (air) as seen here you will be hurting but on the flip side it has a great rasp that correct diaphragm screaming cannot achieve

How can you get used to screaming all the time. It's not natural. You are literally straining your vocal chords
+Bianca Armani It's a technique as natural as regular singing. You can destroy your vocal chords with regular singing the exact same way you can do it with screaming, if done improperly. :) Practice makes perfect and you can train your voice to be able to scream without pain.

I thought that when I first heard their music and then I started watching recent interviews of them and I was completely chocked because you see Oli here screaming and giving it his all and then in interviews he is one of the most soft spoken and polite people I have ever heard. He has different opinions then most people but he still respects the other opinions. As well as the other members of the band.

Jordan Fish is a hell of a singer
As a screamer myself oli's technique is very unique and very straining on his voice, he was exhausted by this song as his voice began breaking so he began using his chords, not his diaphragm as a last push to get through, he succeeded but I really think he needed the long break he should had took before That's the Spirit. I'm glad he learned how to sing because I could hear his voice slowly becoming destroyed due to his screaming technique.
