The 2023 Hyundai Exter is a new micro SUV that has been launched in India. It is priced starting at Rs. 5.99 lakh (ex-showroom) and competes against the likes of the Tata Punch and Maruti Ignis.
The Exter is available in three variants: E, S, and SX. The E variant is the base variant and comes with features such as a 1.2-litre petrol engine, 5-speed manual transmission, 14-inch steel wheels, halogen headlights, and a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Bluetooth and USB connectivity.
The S variant adds features such as 15-inch alloy wheels, LED headlights, a rear parking camera, and a 6-speaker sound system. The SX variant is the top-of-the-line variant and adds features such as a sunroof, a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a 6-airbag safety suite.
Here is a wish list for the 2023 Hyundai Exter India Variant:
Automatic transmission: The Exter is only available with a 5-speed manual transmission. An automatic transmission would make it more appealing to buyers who don't want to shift gears themselves.
CNG option: A CNG option would make the Exter more fuel-efficient and affordable.
More safety features: The Exter comes with a 6-airbag safety suite in the top-of-the-line SX variant. However, it would be nice to see these features offered in the lower variants as well.
Better interior quality: The interior of the Exter is a bit plasticky. A better interior quality would make the car feel more premium.

Bro, for first time car buyer, I'm cat on the wall in choosing either Exter S or SX. For little more, I'm willing to get SX too
If I'm in your position will choose sx for fulfilment , outside modification always big trouble you need to spend more than that for adding sx features , stock features always reliable, hassle free and will cover under warranty .

You can select according to your needs.
I think this is the dumbest variant and a bit over priced. For merely 80k more... you get reverse camera, projected head lamps,roof rails, steer tilt adjust, retractable mirrors, cruise control, more roof lights, better looking 15 inch tyres.. The price range should be placed more close to base variant. probably 6.7 or 6.8L would be apt !

@@rishikausshik00 That's why I said it's over priced. It's nearly 1.5L higher than base model and there aren't this much feature upgrade between those 2 variants. Ideally this should cost around 50k less.
