Awesome. Keep up the great work. Funny enough, the only one of those rums I don't have is the Don Q. By the way, I got two bottles of Rhum Bolongne. One of the black Cane and one of their baseline offerings. Since I tasted the first time, I've been microdosing it day after day. It was one of the most interesting rums I've ever tasted.
To be honest, I didn’t think much of DonQ until I went to the distillery. They are doing some amazing things and their rum’s are unadulterated. I love Bologne Black Cane such a good option. I only wish that there other offerings were imported into the US.
When I first saw the title of this video, I though "Uh oh, here we go"... I was wrong. These are great recommendations for the reasons that you state. A good variety of representations of what rum is and can be. Well done.
Thank you for giving the video a chance! I really wanted to represent the diversity of rum and offer her a wide array as people tend to come from rum from with different flavor profiles 👍🏻
I THOUGHT the El Dorado 12 changed! I wasn’t a fan until I tried it again this year and fell in love. Didn’t rate it before so thanks for telling me my palate isn’t completely savage 😂
It's great that people can enjoy drinking in moderation, i envy you but i had to quit 😂 drank myself into oblivion and eventually stopped took it up last year again but even the smallest amount gives me a sick feeling for days for example i had 4 beer's felt sick for 3 days and had anxiety and depression for 2 weeks but great video all the same
For me, I have 650+ rums at home BUT 95% of them are 80% full or more. I really see sipping room as a deep appreciation for the people that have made it and the expression that they want to share with the world. Also, hangovers are a massive deterrent for me drinking an excess 🤣🤣
That’s really tough! I’d say if you’ve never sipped spirits neat, then Rhum Barbancourt 8 Year. If you’re into lower whiskies, Doorly’s 12 Year. Higher proof whiskies, Privateer Botted-in-Bond. I could keep going, but don’t want to make this reply an essay lol

Thank you for this! I'm a Bourbon drinker, but have always wanted to get into rums.
Thank you for tuning in! Rum is a crazy vast category and very fun to go down the rabbit hole with. Let me know what else you’d like me to cover!
🤯 i can never wrap my brain around how cheap you can buy amazing bottles for!
Right?! Just be careful though. Now I’m looking for pricier bottles 🤣🤣

I think it’s really encouraging that they listened to feedback from consumers and made a conscious decision to adjust based on what they were hearing
Lots of delicious rums up there! Appleton 12 is my fav
Hey thanks! Appleton 12 was a great jumping off point for me!

Well that was fabulous!! I especially love Privateer ! To the Run! Where do you get the hat?
I created the logo myself! It’s available on the Rumsie Mercantile!
Goslings Black Seal from Bermuda 😊
Another great rum!
😁🙌🏻🥃
🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
I would choose Chairman's Reserve Legacy over the Chairman's Reserve Original. Still very approachable but far more interesting.
The legacy is a great call as well! Anything chairman’s really 🙌🏼
Plantation Xamayca is pot still Jamaican rum. Lower price than comparable rums.
Also a great choice!!!
I like the Doorly's XO better than the 12 Year
Also a great option!
If you had to pick one rum from this list to start with, what would it be?

If you don't start you won't have to stop
So very true!!!
Flor de Cana is absolute garbage
Oh no! Let me take this whole video down then 🤣🤣🤣
Abuelo rums are decent
