Ditto for Needles Kane in PlayStation All Stars. The game that clown originated from centers around cars using ballistic weapons. Speaking of Captain Falcon, the same could be said for Fox in Super Smash Bros.

But admittedly virtually none of what was present in that "vehicle style" played into Hal's design for Fox's character in Smash 64.

Not to mention that continuing to release many games of the same genre nowadays would mean that their own games would be competing with eachother, diminishing their ability to make a profit.
What I've noticed is that Jin's backstory shares a few plot points with Fox's (from Starfox 64) backstory, (Elite unit made up of hero's father, an old mentor-type character, and an eventual traitor, resulting in father's death and hero taking up piloting in his memory,) though this came first by a year or two.
Doesn't help that both are from games where the way you play as them is riding a machine so both have to be made original movesets for them in fighting games where they appeared on their own

We got the CAPCOM Fighting Collection with this game (Cyberbots Fullmetal Madness), the Vampire/Darkstalkers series, Red Earth/Warzard, Hyper Street Fighter II, Pocket Fighter/Super Gem Fighter Mini Mix, Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo/X.
I like to think of Capcom as the Hanna-Barbara of video game companies: they reuse assets and animations all the time (low budget), made a ton of products, and featured Marvel characters in some of their works.
I just downloaded this off of the PlayStation Network and ive got to say I love this game! Its just something about the old Capcom games that make them so good. The only dowside to getting it off the PSN Is that its the Original Japanese version meaning everything is in Japanese, but I still understand whats going on lol. Very good game though.

horaciosi Yes you get the games buy using a Credit or Debit card, or you can use a PSN card that has a certain amount of money on it. Those can be found at grocery stores, or videogame stores.
Capcom liked to show their other characters love in other games back then. They went on doing it up until IIIrd Strike. Hell I JUST found out that Ibuki and Tessa are from a game called Red Earth. And this is Jin and Devilotte's game of origin. And Guy and Cody are from Final Fight. Not gonna lie, I kinda love it.

And I swear that her appearance with her lackeys reminds me of the Doronbo Trio from Yatterman. And Gaits, too. Proof that a Mook could really dish it out, if given a chance and a few choice upgrades. What more could you ask for?
i played the game by myself some minutes ago and i have to say that i got very attached to characters shade was a really good boss even trought i used like 24 continues to defeat him
ultramegamanx somewhat :) Romancer is more its own thing, a very self-aware and direct salute to 70s, 80s, and 90s giant robot animes like Mazginer, Macross, Evangelion, and Gundam. Jin/Blodia from Cyberbots is a secret character to unlock, which was pretty cool.
It's good we're getting Cyberbots on Switch through the Arcade Stadium. But why can't we get Marvel vs. Capcom Clash of Super Heroes on Switch though? They both feature Jin Saotome!

I remember this back in the old days. I don't know how you were able to beat Santana piloting the Tarantula. I can never beat him using the Blodia mech. He would always block all my moves and follow it with a counter. He would always grab you a lot. I almost gave up until I switched mechs. When I switched to the Swordsman mech I kicked his ass like nothing. It's like he didn't know what to do when I was in a new mech. Weird. I was playing as Jin at the time.
It’s because swordsman’s moves are really good. That multi hit light attack just tears though other mechs. If I had known how much easier it was to use swordsman I would have started with that😢. This guy just spams dragon punch a lot.
This was their first appearance before Marvel vs. Capcom. Jin was a fighter, Devilotte was an assist character. Devilotte also was the final boss in Super Puzzle Fighter.

Setting the play speed to 50 percent makes each combo much more enjoyable. The amount of detail in each frame is amazing!

Yes Jin Saotome is a capcom fighter but this game is very difficult to find translated into english where do you think you can find it? Ebay, amazon?
Best way now is via arcade emulation. Console ports are all Japan-only and only the arcade version was actually translated.
Just wait 'til june. You'll be able to get this game, alongside old Capcom fighting games in the "Capcom Fighting Collection" for all consoles
