While I loved her love songs best, Nancy is just so superb here. So fantastic to see her here in her salad years. Three of my favorite female vocalists (all for different reasons) are Karen Carpenter, Sarah Vaughan in her earlier (Mercury Records) years, and of course, of course...dear Nancy LaMott. 😢
This was a great performance, but there was ONE TIME it was surpassed -- by Liza Minnelli at the "Final Event" with Frank Sinatra and Sammy Davis Junior. Liza did it many other times, but never came close to that event. Did everything exactly the same as Nancy cept at the very end. Ya gotta here that ending! ;)
