This was fun to watch, I kept giggling at the sight of Madeline continually wobbling through the air, and wobbling menacingly toward Badeline in 6B, it just looks so silly lol. Definitely one of the most entertaining TASes i've seen ^^

I think the super dash variant is very cool and I’d love to see a TAS of that. Do whatever you want though, I’m sticking with you. I just want to see girl go zoom!

thought: at 10:26, get a seeker to the end of the room, then drop theo on the seeker so he's just bouncing on it against the transition. then build up enough speed to clip through the wall in the next room and then pick up theo. doubt it would work because of needing Theo high enough against the transition but it would be funny
yeah waterboosts give speed because you can jump on consecutive frames while in the top 1.5ish tiles of water. the water itself doesn't make any speed, it just allows you to actually perform the jumps in quick succession
I’ve always wondered what a TAS would look like with combinations of the cool speed gimmicks. Like if you did infinite jumps plus super dash, which is basically a perfect combo since the main thing this yas struggles with is gaining/losing height and in particular getting around corners (all things that super dash excels at) Maybe I’ll try TASing that myself idk I’ve never tried before
before it started I was thinking "with infinite jumps, can you not just water-boost the air"... yes, yes you can also, are u just crouching whilst "water"-boosting instead of demos?
yeah managing crouch state was critical for saving time in this tas and then doing some skips as well. here's some of my favorites: 4:56-crouch from before theo is required to not die 2 rooms later 5:26 5:32-the setup for the usual "demodash" spot, which wallboosts before skipping the cutscene to cancel speed and move to the right after fading back in 5:34 5:50-going through like 3 dust bunnies and then also setting up to properly get through the screen transition with a ton of speed 11:40-entrance to the 6a cassette room uses kevin-boosted jump spam to get ludicrous speed 12:55-this one required pause buffering to press jump for reduced gravity 16:40-there's a few crouch jumps through spinners in 1500M, but this movement and the following room are the best in the entire TAS, and took a tooon of work to get right

what does the dash at 16:05 do? it doesn't seem like it would be needed
You can't fit through that gap without a crouch, and there's nowhere to start a crouch without a crouch-dash
It saves time dashing through the dream block by crouch dashing underneath it as its impossible to pass that without dashing

i think they can, but after some (admittedly not very thorough) testing, i couldn't get the seeker to press the button there
seekers can hit horizontal buttons but not vertical buttons unfortunately
