Yesterday, I was fishing in a small pond (also very shallow), I caught 2 within the first 25 Min there and some guy came over from across the pond to ask me what was I doing because he has never seen anyone catch anything there lol I was very proud of myself.
I have done a lot of pier fishing and deep water and recently fell in love with bass fishing. Caught my first bass today thanks to your super informational videos and the bass forecast app. No need to carry a notebook full of unorganized notes with me anymore!
My fishing IQ has grown so much from your videos. This weekend I put my IQ to the test and I caught SO much fish, so thank you Tyler so much for these videos!
Yesterday I worked a bedding male and female for about 45 minutes to a hour and could not get a bite. I watched your video when I got home and received some pointers. Today I went to back to that same bed and caught the 2.5 pound male within 5 minutes. I was able to creep up behind the bed and get low. I had to literally sit on the bank and dangle a black/blue Zoom trick worm in front of the male. He hit it once and moved it off the bed. I continued to aggravate him and within 2-3 minutes homie was in my hands. With all that said thanks for the pointers and the great content. Keep it coming.

I threw every thing in my usual bed fishing tool box today, trying to catch a big boy. Finally I was going to give up but I threw a chartreuse storm swim shad. One cast, he hit it.
Dang this whole "seeing the fish" thing sounds cool lmao i dont have (prescription) polarized sunglasses and the water in my lake is pretty murky, i only know blind fishing. But ive caught multiple big(3 lb or more is big in this lake) fish including my PB 5.5lber in the last 2 weeks or so. Would love to do some sightfishing sometime. Awesome video as always💪🏼🤙🏼
I'd like to mention something about spawn/bed fishing for those who don't know 1. If you catch any species of fish during the spawn season throw them back in the same spot when you caught it also Tyler is correct you should be in a position to where the fish can't see you and cast your lure pass their bed 2. I really don't think clothing really matters much for spawn fishing cause I've caught some before and I can't remember what colored clothing I was wearing on those days when I caught spawn fish 3. Weather really doesn't matter too much cause I've caught one spawning large mouth bass on a cloudy day 4. My lure suggestions for spawning season are the Rapala Shad Rap in the Shad color and I've caught my first spawn bass on it and it hit me so hard I thought a train hit me and it broke my rod in 2 but I still caught it and also you can use the lure any fishing season and also Bomber Baits one of their triple packs has 1 foxy shad color crankbait 1 creek craw crankbait and 1 mossy back craw if I recall correctly it was the mossy craw that gotten me a spawn bass on a cloudy day Well hopefully this'll help anyone new or old when it comes to fishing so anyways have a wonderful night/day tight lines everyone 🎣 and anyways peace ✌️

Hello Tyler, so I’ve been watching your TH-cam videos for a good while now because I’ve been fishing for a long time but I’ve always struggled with knowing if I’m using the right combos . so as of right now, I have two bait casters. Both of them are on 7 foot medium heavy fast action rods. One of the bait casters is a 7.8:1 and the other is a 6.1:1. I mainly use the 7.8:1 for soft baits like worms and I also use it for jigs. I use the 6.1:1 for basically everything else like hard plastics. So really I just want to know if I’m using those two rods for the right thing or if maybe I need to switch it up and then I was also curious as to what kind of combo do you think I should purchase next? Also, both of my bait casters are on 15 pound mono.

The only problem with polarized sunglasses is I wear regular glasses...so uhm, what's your suggestion for that?
