What about gaining affiliation, my courses requiring me to gain affiliation to become an instructor Is that a state to state thing? I am in Connecticut.

Registration for a class says there is a written exam in addition to a hands on. Is the exam open resource like a regular BLS class?

If we get certified by AHA does that mean that American Red Cross will also validate the course we took to become instructor and vice versa?

No. They are completely separate. Go with AHA. Most workplaces do not accept Red Cross certs.
