I recieved Caeser 3 as a free game with our first PC. Still one of my favourite games to noot up and play about on! Definitely going to have to invest in this one. Great content colonel 😉

The way "herbs" came out at 31:15 is going to keep me chuckling for days...even though that's the way it's pronounciated by literally everyone I know here in the middle of the U.S. of A.
The illuminati set the date in 1237 BC and were just counting down to when they executed their plan to create a new religion on the back of the old one.
Oh the realism is just amazing: At the riverside let’s lift the water up 100 feet just to have a good 1/2 mile of 100 foot tall aqueduct and then dump it in a cistern. *By no means* move the water through a 1/2 mile of 8 or 10 foot tall aqueduct, and *then* lift it into a cistern… That would be completely unreasonable. Obviously.
I was hoping it would be like Civ City Rome, my absolute favouritist city building game set in the Roman Empire, so much so that I bought it on Steam after my CD version fundamentally exploded. The Steam version still had the bleeding bug with the woodworkers just spending all day doing push ups.
C3 is still in development by big group of fans. There is great mod, that looks like official DLC - Augustus. Better resolution, improved gameplay, new buildings. Worth to play :)
I'm not a big fan of how disasters are implemented in these types of games, but since they (the gods) don't seem horrible here and they are pretty easy to manage, it's not a big problem. But I'm still not sure what it adds.
I do get where you are coming from but given the setting and that the gods played such a significant role in that era most devs seem to feel they can't just be ignored entirely so the question then becomes if this is not a great option what is a way to implement them that feels like it adds something to the gameplay experience. The one good thing this game does seem to do is allow you to appease all of them rather than being forced to receive some punishment for favouring one over the other.

It has not life, creators of this game probably never played any game in their whole life...this is just stupid and insulting!!! They should at least played Cezar first to see what a game should look like!!!!

This game sounds effects are similar to Foundation. Any chance that it is from the same developer?
Different developer, but it's possible both have used the same audio library.
