I tested positive May 3, 2023. I am still sick and found out I have blood clots and low thyroid hormones. I have fatigue, head aches, light-headed, brain fog, and I lost my job. So, I just wanted to say Thank you for understanding and all your hard work!!!
Thank you so much. I'm not your patient but I am immensely grateful for people like you who help us suffering feel less alone and a renewed hope for things to get better. Thank you!!
it is 2 years and 2 months I still have headaches on the top of my head with pressure , my period is still not the same yet, sometimes right eye floaters, I can no longer see nothing up close no more, my fingers on my left hand go numb while sleeping and when waking up
Hi Dr. Malcolm - I'm a CoVid long hauler (18 months in). When you stated that long CoVid is not a psychological (psychosomatic) disorder yes you are 100% correct. Thank you for making that very clear. When you went on to say that this patient was taking Paxil and you said that it's not helping the underlying problem but that it's helping with depression caused by being a long hauler. I have to say from what I have learned that you are right and wrong on that point. Paxil as you know is an SSRI. Many long haulers are taking an SSRI and they help. I am included in this group of long haulers. I take Zoloft. Interestingly, I started taking Zoloft to help with the feelings of despair from being chronically ill for over a year with no answers when before getting CoVid I was perfectly healthy. What I did not expect was for some of my long CoVid symptoms to improve because of my taking Zoloft. I've learned now that SSRIs actually have an anti inflammatory effect (research shows that depression is actually caused by inflammation not by a lack of neurotransmitters). CoVid is HIGHLY inflammatory. Bottom line: there is something else good going on with the SSRIs and long haulers than just relieving our depression.
Thank you for treating these patients .. I treat them too .. but good Lord this talk is all over the place and almost free association.. would be nice to have a structured approach to the talk and how to approach these cases
What a great presentation and info. I work in a vitamin shop and we recommended your supplements here with great success. You are so open and that creates change! I personally had great success for myocarditis with Ivermectin. It was miraculous! In 5 short days! I am curious as to why you have not mentioned it today? Perhaps legal reasons? Thank you so much!!!
Hi, I am from South Carolina. I tried to register for RTHM. Unfortunately, RTHM is not a provider for South Carolina. The redirection letter link did not work either. What I find out there is almost no doctors here working on Long COVID. Is there any chance in future there might be options available to include patients from other states?
Dr. Yusuf (JP) Saleeby MD of Carolina Holistic Medicine is located in South Carolina. He was recently interviewed by Dr. Mobeen Syed MD of Dr Been Medical Lectures. He treats Long COVID as well as other chronic dysfunctions of the Immune System such as Chronic Lyme Disease and sounds very knowledgeable. Good Luck on your Journey to Recovery.
Currently, we offer care for patients 18 y/o and up in California, Washington, Oregon, Arizona, New York, Florida, and Virginia. We are working diligently to expand our services to all 50 states. Our providers have license applications submitted in Texas, Colorado, Illinois, Massachusetts, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Maryland. Stay tuned!
@@RTHM_Health Thank you for the update! 👍🏼 Please add your neighbor state, Idaho. We in the panhandle are minutes from Spokane and can participate. Also, please lower the monthly membership fee, $1000 per month is a lot for us who are devastated and had to cut back in work hours.
Here we have the manipulation of language. The term “long covid” implies that all of these negative effects are the result of covid infection and not vaccination. If individuals get vaccinated, that data must be included in the assessment.
Thank you for this. I was a long hauler with very mild abs hardly noticeable symptoms which became much much worse a few minutes after vaccination to the point where u was bed bound in 2021. I’m going to try the augmented NAC. Tried regular NAC before and also liposomal glutathione and I think it was helping. At the time my sx were so bad I was desperate. Maraviroc gave me an allergic reaction. Statin made me so tired k switched to Finofobrate for a while and no longer taking it. One thing you didn’t mention was low dose naltrexone. I started that a few weeks ago and seem to have more energy and less intense flares. Can you include LDN in your next chat? Thanks :)
Do you have any specific recommendations for NAC, i.e. brand and dosing? I see a lot doing a simple google search and I'd like to narrow down the choices. Thanks in advance!
We recommend: NAC: 600-900mg once daily Pure Encapsulations. There is some chatter about Augmented NAC augmentednac.com/en on spike binding/degradation.
@@RTHM_Health I've been taking this one 3 capsules a day together with nattokinase and also 4 capsules of ivermectin, also nicotine patch because some nicotine theory which binds to ace2... etc, nothing helps. this is an auto-immune disease the body produces spikes and spikes causes metabolic dysfunction and inflammation all over the body. Also tried LDN 3mg daily

Do any of your patients have extreme heat intolerance? I can’t take five minutes outside. Very upset.
Thanks for sharing. Since Long COVID affects every system in the body, the symptoms vary like heat tolerance.
May I ask if long covid causes, swelling at the base of the neck and lymph nodes enlargement!!? Please help!
Any medical provider recommendation for north Idaho near Spokane WA? Desperate to find help. I've paid for most of my tests out of pocket.

Also...can Long Covid due to micro clotting, create high blood pressure? Is micro clotting one reason for so much fatigue?
Yes, the microclotting can cause fatigue. See the paper by Pretorius and colleagues on the triple anticoagulant therapy
tingling is from circulation or pinching the bloodstream
All should take DAILY low dose Lithium
