"China urges the United States to fully comprehend the serious consequences of supplying weapons to Taiwan and what may occur if provocations continue," the spokesperson added. Earlier, the US Department of Defense’s Defense Security Cooperation Agency announced that the Department of State had approved an arms package for Taiwan valued at nearly $2 bln, which would include the National Advanced Surface-to-Air Missile System (NASAMS) and radar systems. Footage released by the Russian Defence Ministry has confirmed the submarine launch of an RSM-56 Bulava intercontinental range ballistic missile from the Sea of Okhotsk near Japan. The new missile class was operationalised in 2018, and is deployed from the country’s most modern class of nuclear powered strategic submarine the Borei Class. Each missile carries up to 1.5 megatons of nuclear force split between up to ten warheads - approximately 100 times the nuclear force used against Hiroshima by the U.S. Army Air Force in 1945. The Russian Navy’s fleet of ballistic missile submarines is split between the Arctic and the Pacific fleets, with the bulk of its ships deployed under the former. The fleet of Borei Class submarines currently stands at eight ships, and is expected to be expanded to fourteen, with the class’ performance having led the planned fleet size to be expanded by 40 percent. The Russian Defence Ministry subsequently released footage showing the launch of the submarine launch of an R-29RMU Sineva intercontinental range ballistic missile, a lighter and shorter ranged counterpart to the Bulava that first entered service in 2007. The launch was carried out from the Barents Sea. The smaller misses were developed to be accommodated by the Russian Navy’s smaller and older Soviet designed Delta IV Class ballistic missile submarines, effective revolutionising the capabilities of these older ships. Although retaining a comparable range to the Bulava, Sineva missiles can only carry four nuclear warheads. The Russian Armed Forces launched a third class of intercontinental range ballistic missile, the RS-24 Yars, which was fired from the Plesetsk Cosmodrome around 800 kilometres north of Moscow. The system forms the backbone of the Russian land based strategic nuclear forces today, with half of all ground-based ICBM regiments having been re-equipped with Yars missiles by mid-2021 - for a total arsenal of over 180 ICBMs. The Yars represents a lighter counterpart to the heavier R-36 and RS-28 Sarmat silo based missiles that are approximately four times as large. Approximately 90 percent of Yars missiles are road mobile, with each designed to carry three 200 kiloton nuclear warheads. Military Watch Magazine

The column consists of three BMP-2 and moves in foggy conditions, hoping that it will not be detected. The kamikaze drone "Vandal" attacked a Ukrainian BMP-2 of Soviet manufacture, judging by the video, the BMP-2 had already been damaged by another drone. As a result of the drone strike, a fire started in the BMP-2, which completely destroyed the combat vehicle. The video shows attacks on two BMP-2s, one has a mesh "barbecue", the other is iron. The Russian Defense Ministry stated that the exercise is intended to practice “in response to a nuclear strike by the enemy”. It's terrible that the united states is doing this to these poor innocent young men.
@Interglacial_optimist the amount of refugees and political asylum seekers in EU is also expected to grow, placing further burden on the fledging economy, as Ukrainian youngsters seek refuge from their own government.
@sebastianforbes1 was. Now isn't
@sebastianforbes1 i am not sure, but western allies told Ze that average age of US soldier in the Nam was 18. Ze did get the message. Hence the meme in Ukrainian internet segment: babies sitting on potties and uncle Ze saying get ready, fighters, your turn has come.
@@nenad6787the famous number about Vietnam is 19, not 18
And still, despite the song, it's incorrect and the average age was much higher

More inconsequential nonsense
America has declared that Russia is not an enemy. An adversary yes...enemy no.
Not America. one smart and honest man.
Does Ukraine use tear gas on the front lines....?
At the end of the 1st world war, 2 out of 3 shells fired were chemical. Maybe its use should be reconsidered when confronted with hordes of North Koreans in Europe.
Almost two million personnel of the Ukraine forces can no longer participate.
About half of Russian drones are now making their mark.
They would need permission to go into the kursk region of Russia.
Russia marches on the west falls
Not 160000 'people' ...dudes.

Vandal drones attack a column of Ukrainian BMP-2s in the Kursk region
th-cam.com/video/fVVWdutLPPg/w-d-xo.html
We publish new footage of the use of the Russian FPV drone "Prince Vandal Novgorodsky", controlled via fiber optic cable. In the video, the kamikaze drone "Vandal" attacks a Ukrainian column of armored vehicles in the Sudzhansky district of the Kursk region of Russia. All three BMP-2s were destroyed. What happened to the BMP crews is unknown.

Please give Hamish de Bretton-Gordon some training in how to speak in a more objective, less narcissistic way. He has a lot of interesting things to say, but I was too distracted by the "I did.."s and "I said..."s.
Breaking, dictator Putin just mobilized another 300 North Korean soldiers
@Silures11 the war in the East of Ukraine is one big wealth redistribution project. Western banks lost $billions in mortgages, loans, credit cards etc in Ru controlled areas, not to mention agricultural land , purchased by western companies from Zelensky.

Putin oversees massive nuclear drill simulating response strikes

Russian President Vladimir Putin Tuesday supervised a large-scale nuclear exercise, aiming at simulating a nuclear response and featuring the launch of ballistic and cruise missiles. Speaking in a video call with military leaders, Putin again made his country’s stance crystal clear.
The Russian Defense Ministry stated that the exercise is intended to practice “in response to a nuclear strike by the enemy”. All the missiles reached their designated targets, according to the ministry.
Putin has previously cautioned the US and NATO that that allowing Ukraine to use Western-supplied longer-range weapons for strikes deep inside Russia would put NATO at war with his country.
