Excellent! I have loaded for many years and this serves as a tutorial for the first time loader or someone considering the effort. I was a subscriber for many years until I "retired from shooting" several years ago. With your TH-cam channel I can now relive my many many hours at the reloading bench. Again, well done.
Thank you for your subscription and support because of people like you we are able to continue what we do. We hope you enjoy the videos. We plan on making many more so stick around!
I know...I'm late to the party. But, saw your review of this Redding Big Boss single stage reloading press. Therefore, being a novice at reloading. I trust...your fair evaluation of this press. So, I pulled the trigger and bought the Big Boss 2 Pro Kit for under $400...Now, I have to find cases,primers..& powder..
Forget to say..I subscribed...How you set the dies into the presses and how much to tighten ? This may seem trivial to the old veteran experienced hand loaders out there. But, it'd interest this 67 year old Virgin Grandpa to know that and looking forward to more educational a d interesting videos from you. T/Y
@@frankserra6709 Frank, better late than never! Let us be the first to welcome you to the wonderful world of handloading! I only wish it was under better circumstances. I think you will be happy with the press they are very accurate and easy to use. For the beginner reloading I think a single stage press makes the most sense. I wish you the best of luck in your search for cases, primers and powder. While you wait for primers and powder I suggest sorting, cleaning and prepping your brass so when you do get other components you are ready to go. working in large batches will save you a lot of time on the setup of dies and other accessories. In regards to your second comment I want to thank you for subscribing we greatly appreciate that! As for dies positioning/set up is different depending on what die you are using. However when it comes to tightness I prefer just handtight and to let the lock ring do it's job, my goal when working with a single stage press and die set up is that I want that set up to be repeatable. So I snug the die down handtight and do the same with the lock ring and then use the set screw to hold the lock ring in place so when I remove the die and put it back it is repeatable. Thanks for watching and I hope this answers your question!
This is a Big Boss 2 there is not much of a difference between the two the main distinguishing factor is the primer catch system. The Big boss 2 has a tube to catch spent primers. Thanks for watching and good question!

Nice vid, but you forgot to touch on the case trimming tool.
This is a Big Boss or a Big Boss 2?
