@Somar Chimon Unfortunately this would not work. Glass is already a poor conductor of heat. Modern windows usually have two panes with a thin layer of air between them to further improve insulation. I doubt you would gain much from this gel layer. But the window will still let sunlight in, which is absorbed by surfaces in the room. This heats up these surfaces, which in turn start radiating back. But what they return is infrared radiation - to which glass is mostly opaque. In other words: energy comes in as light, gets converted into heat, and then into infrared light which cannot leave the room easily. This is also how greenhouses work.
Looked like it has some kind of absorbent polymer in between each sheet. Instead of air, a coolant, suspended in fine water beads. Simple but ever so effective.

I know what windows I'm putting in my house if I ever move near a volcano...
And that is a glass that drinks fire resistant potion
makes sense right?...
But what if ure door burns first? Whats left of ure house is your window glass?
It wasnt actual lava he was using. Just melted copper. You can tell by the look of it when it comes out. Has a more metallic look than it should
wouldn't it be too much heat that the house would just burn
Well you have the rest of your house that is combustible sir.... So really your statement is ignorant and to the point
На самом деле могли бы этот весь процесс снять ещё и на тепловизор, и был бы уникальный контент...
I appreciate you not talking and just letting me enjoy what was advertised.
That car glass breaking down totally with the slightest load of lava is me when given some responsibility
hahahaha

My brain: "what if you touch lava?"
Me: "no why?"

Just do it with fire resistant gloves

Gotta love how the car glass just disintegrates.
modern day automotive safety requires that cars crumple and the glass shatters easily so it doesn't become super dangerous shards that will cut you up and impale you. They are engineered to be that way and for good reason.
@@Darth1Marik I might add, they are layered and in-between there's a sticky film that prevents too many shards to fall. In short, it crumbles but still stays in big chunks, to prevent cutting.
Tempered glass
@@Darth1Marik Automobiles use 2 types of safety glass, laminated glass for the windshield and tempered glass for the windows
@@clarehidalgo Was about to say. They ought to have tried a windshield instead of a side window.
When the sun swallows earth I know what windows I’m getting
