- This is the adoption story of Kalkidan Wegner. We adopted Kali when she was 4 years old from Ethiopia. Her adoption story is one of God’s timing and His provision.
Today Kali is 14 and is such a blessing to our family! I hope that you enjoy hearing her story. If you are waiting to know if God is asking you to adopt a child, I hope that this story is an encouagment to you.

@@juliafru7522 She didn't adopt herself. Think logically, she was four years old at the time. The mother would be able to relate more details and the financial aspect of it. Their body language says they have a good relationship,,,,,color has nothing to do with it.

Hello, I’m interested in teaching kids Amharic language. I came to the US at a young age and I am fluent in both languages. I currently volunteer teaching at a local church and the demand is mind blowing.

It's so sad that these kids had to leave their birth families, while on the other hand the world is aborting millions of babies. Messed up world but a beautiful story.
