    I really like the contrast between the snow and the CP Read and CEFX Blue as well as the unique blue hoppers. Great video thanks for posting.

      You and me both Zach. The blue was really striking in contrast to the white and dark green everywhere.

    Great video again and great looking cars. I see the spring melt is beginning, which is also great. The winter has been too long and too cold.

      Thanks Ken. I agree, we're ready for spring here.

    I love how they are struggling to keep them moving. The shiny cars are awesome!

    • @thetrainshop
      @thetrainshop 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Dustin Pendergast by the sound of it as the leaders pass, it sounds like they're in 3 or 4 notch. No struggle.

    • @BArailsystem
      @BArailsystem  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Dustin is right, they are most certainly struggling. The camera might not have captured the audio perfectly but they are definitely in max throttle. Track speed is 30 MPH there's no way they are making that with a horsepower to tonnage ratio of 0.9. These potash trains are notorious for being assigned as little power as safely possible.

    More beautiful Canadian scenery Ben! You're making me home sick and I don't even live there..LOL. Very different in winter Ben, I went down to this bridge but no trains but luckily the lake was still a bit frozen. This is a magical shot.
    Cheers Gregg.

      Homesick haha if you had experienced a Canadian winter in it's entirety I'm sure you'd be happy to stay down there in the southern hemisphere. This is the most snow I've ever seen in Lake Louise. There were very few places you could go without snowshoes. Thanks for the comment! Ben

      LOL, you're right there Ben, a little too cold for too long for me!

    Nice video Ben. I've recently moved back to my hometown Kamloops & have spotted these new cars a few times now. I commute between Kamloops & Savona most days so it's a treat to see a train like that with Kamloops Lake providing a scenic backdrop (obviously not as impressive as the backdrop in your video though).
    I even saw one of these trains with a blue CEFX loco in the lead.

    • @BArailsystem
      @BArailsystem  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks! Kamloops is beautiful, just a completely different type of Canadian scenery. This one had a CEFX leader as well, I was thinking to myself as it went by how cool it would look with 2 CEFX leaders.

    Wow, cool vid, Ben! Like that red compartment door on the CEFX leader. Discovery should hire you on Rocky Mountain Railroad to get more accurate footage of moving trains :)
