Bailiff standing behind defendant. SPOILER ALERT
Where is Mr Allen? 😊
@@Letsdolunch2023 I was wondering that too. Days off not allowed.
How does the bailiff know they’re going into custody?
@@auntiedough2488I think some of the judges have little signals that they give to alert the bailiffs without the plaintiff knowing.
I love how they saw the judge swinging in his chair and they stepped up. 😅 They know what he's going to do
Revoked and remanded, now she doesn't have to worry about how she is getting to court.
And she gets three hots and a cot.
guilty of being white! she was in a place where she cant drink! and cant have alcohol!
When the judge starts swinging back and forth in his chair while you are giving your story --- not a sign that he is buying it.
3:24 “Just so we are clear before you go on with your… story.” When a Judge calls your testimony a “story,” he knows you are lying.
😂😂😂
YEP!!!! Judge Simpson is no fool...that look he gives is priceless....
Some of these defendants seem to think Judge Simpson just fell off the turnip truck.
Same people think health care workers are the same.
I have never heard that expression. I understand it and it applies. I wonder at the history.
Came back to say I googled it. And have my answer.
To be fair, they assume EVERYBODY is dumber than they are.
And she's driving the turnip truck. And the judge hitched a ride. 😂
Addicts are liars. I'm glad he called her out on her BS.
I don't understand it. I kept a job, stayed out of trouble and wasn't a complete piece of shit when I was smoking h for years...
You’re definitely the exception to the rule then
She had her speech all planned out and none of her BS made sense.
And of course there is no possible way that someone in an sober living facility might find a way to smuggle alcohol in?
I got a chuckle out of that one.
If it were possible to keep everything out, there'd never be an overdose in an inpatient facility. 😂
And, if you did smuggle some in, you’d consume after lights out.
Ha ahhaha! True! I lived in one back in 02. And I definitely snuck in the nips. We all did there was even druggies!
💯 I know most people don't understand, but the vast majority of homeless people are homeless for a reason. Shelters are great, but you can easily get kicked out of those too because they don't fuck around. Someone who can follow them would love your bed.
"Why didn't you test ?"
"Well - First, the earth cooled, . . ."
😂🤣

"Well, Your Honor, at age 6, I was born without a face...."
Now I got to go watch Airplane 2. Hope you are happy with yourself. 😊

"She was emotionally grappling with coming into jail".
😅😅😅😅😅
GAG
She wasn’t emotionally grappling when committing an offence!
Lawyers talk cute, Don't they? lol
@@garypvamos2508 Sometimes I don't know how judges keep a straight face.
"There's no way i had access to alcohol"
Oh there are ways! If there was a way to 100% prevent alcohol or drugs in a secure facility, there would never be an overdose at an impatient rehab facility
There are usually more drugs in a treatment facility like that than most places. Her acting like its secure is laughable.
Judge Simpson is quite a remarkable gentleman. He suffers no fools while maintaining a calm demeanor. I wish our court system had many more folks like him.
@caroldenton. There are literally thousands of Judges in this country whose dockets are not streamed/televised and you make the assumption that none of them are like Judge Simpson? There are many, many like Judge Simpson and the few other Judges we see on YT.
" I don't have a license" " I couldn't get a ride" I'm sorry, but someone that doesn't drive or doesn't have a vehicle knows the public transport system. They didn't show because they didn't want to.
I agree for the most part but I live in a city whose public transit (in reality, vs the system that exists on paper) is atrocious. I'm legally blind even with my CRAZY strong prescription, I figure it out but I do wish the bus system was better/functional.
I do agree that she didn't actually try, and doesnt want to show up.
My point is solely with public transit part. Many areas have bad or all but non existent public transit/busses, even in proper cities
Uber is everywhere
@@seanabadalich9112 yes definitely. but it isn't cheap. Not trying to make excuses for her decisions, but I have to use them and it does add up.
She magically got to court.
She has a job starting Monday and her grandmother just died.
Also, she has PTSD and just found God.
And it’s her birthday
Don’t forget the other, I have an interview.
They all are starting a job on Monday 😮
And I'm pregnant
Anyone who talks too much and/or too fast probably has ulterior motives. If you can't dazzle them with brilliance, you baffle them with bullshit. Case in point.
Exactly!!! was waiting for this comment.
1000% correct. 😂😂😂😂
I wouldn't say that. Anxious people talk fast too. And most people are anxious by the prospect of going into jail. I was in the court as a witness and i talked fast as hell, because i was so nervous. I never was at court before and didn't want to do something wrong. And i wasn't even prosecuted.
WHO doesn’t grapple with going to jail?! & the old Doctor appointment excuse.. I’m surprised she didn’t say she was starting a job tomorrow..
Or she has a sick parent that she is a primary caregiver.
Don’t knock jail until you’ve tried their delicious bologna sandwiches and apple juice. 😂😂
Usually it's "I have a job INTERVIEW tomorrow. " 😄😅😅😅😄😄
Pretty sure she was also starting Medical School
@@tjewett1967You mean METHical School? 😁😁😁
I spent almost a decade giving people rides to jail. Don't worry, we can arrange a ride for you!
Judge Simpson is NOT the judge to lie to.
Unless you're a renter.
@@rcrawford42cry about it
@@rcrawford42 Yes! That is so true. He goes soft on the squatters doesn’t he? They are also criminals. Stealing someone’s else’s home and then staying in it for months all the while trashing it.

She can’t get to court then how is she going to get to all those medical appointments 🤨
Yep, her stories resemble a piece of Swiss cheese....full of holes.
When you say that much it's clear you're lying. The truth is always simpler than a lie.
"She couldn't get a ride to jail". I am sure she tried really hard.
I'm willing to bet the police would have been willing to give her a ride.
@robertgibbs6154 yes they would have if she had called to turn herself in.
I’m guessing if you don’t have a ride to jail & you really want to turn yourself in, you could… catch a bus? Walk? Or maybe… ask the cops? At least if they said they were too busy to take her into custody, there would be a record that she made a proper attempt to do it. And I’m guessing if she is staying at a DV women’s shelter they’d be able to help out with a lift or bus ticket? Since they have resources to assist women who have had to flee with very little.

Full of lies

Stop , when you comes to
judge Simpson Courtroom Be honest don’t Lie to him you not going to Win at all …
I love how she says "I'm sorry" after making all her excuses, as if that is going to fix everything and get her off the hook. I teach Middle School, and that's how a lot of the kids are; do something that really calls for some type of punishment, say "I'm sorry", and then when they get consequences, protest "but I SAID I was sorry!"
Yes!
Elementary schoolers are like that too. Problem is administration thinks saying sorry is good enough punishment as well.
Ahhhhhh, the ole "medical" appointments excuse....and the car...and the license.......ahhhhh, THE LIES!!! 😂😂😂😂😂
She wasn’t believable because she kept repeating herself. Over and over. As if that would make it true.
Exactly - say it enough times and she then believes herself!
"I don't have a ride" is like the excuse "dog ate my homework" .... every hear of buses??? walking??
Okay but hear me out. My ferret actually did once pee and poop on my homework. This actually happened, I swear. So I really did have that excuse once.

Always some inane excuse as to why they couldn't turn themselves into jail. Upcoming bond hearing or not, she should be in custody per the warrant that Judge Simpson issued.
unable to get a ride there are buses and your good old feet the judge always does a great job doesn’t take any baloney holds people accountable
❤ JUDGE SIMPSON! 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Don’t have a ride? Start walking!!
Medical appts. People 1/3 my age are going to docs more than I am.😳
Why does it seem that all of these defendants have problems finding a ride, yet there are Ubers and Lyft all over the damn place in Detroit. 😂😂😂 It’s as if these defendants still think we live in the 70s, 80s, and 90s and they’re only taxis available!
Uber and Lyft are $20+ for a few miles. That's a dime bag. What do you think they will choose?
Is there no bus service in Detroit?
I know, that’s what I’m so confused about! You can’t get a ride and yet you have a phone to get you a cab or ride share. Or you can call the sheriff’s office and say you don’t have a ride and they can arrange one!
A big waste of the taxpayer time and money. Another menace to society.
Lol sounds like some melanistic projection.
Love Judge Simpson compassionate and tuff when need be
Typical addict. No accountability, always someone else’s fault. Excuses. Sad to see
She’s making Miss Julian look like a total idiot.
Right!
Uber, lift and taxies don't exist?
And buses and subways.
And flying carpets!
1:52 I am pretty sure any cop will give her a ride to jail?
That's exactly what I was thinking. If you can't drive, call the jail and tell them where you are so they can take you into custody.
Excuses, excuses.
Couldn't get a ride to turn herself in? 😂 but she's here now! And seriously, no joke, a police officer would give you a ride.
You don’t lie to Judge Simpson…He will weed it out of you no matter what you do..
Money to smoke and drink but not public transportation
I have one question - where's Mr. Allen??
Don't worry about getting a ride to court. You will now have a taxpayer-funded chauffeur service to court appointments. 😁

What I like about Judge Cedric Simpson i that he's always a fair in his rulings. He can see the difference between giving someone is being truthful the extra time they need & and seeing thru the person telling a story & being untruthful. Plus he really knows how to keep his cool
They need a court shuttle bus apparently. No buses in this town? No help from the halfway house?

4:00 Judge Simpson ain’t buying her story. 🤔
He's the kind of judge I would want to appear in front of.
If I was not guilty, he'd sniff it out.
If I was guilty AND owned up, did not lie, he'd find a way to make the consequences reasonable.
Just dont get on his bullshit radar.
I didn't drive mor did I have a license for 10 years. Lets just say that, I got in some serious trouble with DMV. As a result, and to keep.my record felony free, the judge gave me a choice #1) I could choose jail for 18-24 months OR #2) I could surrender my driver's
license for 5 years. I was texhnically at habitial offender statis. Satisfying the requirements meant a missemeanor qreckless driving on my record. Any violation of thoae conditions would have not only landed win jail for the remainder of that time. It would have also resulted in a felony habitual teaffic offender which would have stuck with me like white on rice for the reat of mt life. Wirh a terminally ill husband to care for, I opteded for choice #2. Qiestion for this full-of-SHEET defendant: Can you say PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION?
It might not be the fastest oe the most ideal way to get from point A to point B. HOWEVER, at least it WILL get you to where you need to go AND, you might not even have to go to jail because you CAN atrend all court and probation hearings. I wasnt thrilled with ituu but, at least I didnt have to be looking over my shoulder everytime I saw a cop. Sadly, my husband passed away but at least I was able to care for him and be at his bedside holding his hand when he passed away. That would have been kind of hard to do from a jail cell!
It sounds like she is buffering her answer with a bunch of fluff
There were probably 101 ways she could've gotten to jail. And it would've been so much simpler. But it seems that she either wanted to avoid responsibility or was tunnel-visioned in the short-term while sacrificing the long term, big time.
The "sign in and out sheet"......while you were signed "out"...where did you go to get your booze (then hide it on your person when you came back in)?
I was taking my sister to get a circumcision 😊
Give it a couple of years and that will be credible.
What is a "sober rave"?
Miss, keep your head held high and focus on the things that you can control. Remember that this too shall pass, and brighter days lie ahead.
Wow, how about taking some responsibility???
@@momsterzz That's definitely something she can control. I hope she gets to a place where she can look back at this and reflect with some sobriety under her belt. If she ever gets to the AA step where you make amends, perhaps she can write a letter to the court to apologize
Oh dear Judge Simpson is disappointed in her. If she was trying to do the right thing, that would actually feel bad 😞
I guess my biggest thing with these devices is, if there’s a malfunction, there’s absolutely no way of knowing and we just blame the person right? I have no idea if she’s lying or not and there’s no excuse for not turning yourself in on a warrant but these devices seem like you’re setting people up to fail.
True in some cases, but the devices were developed with alot of technology and medical data. They are not just built and delivered off the assembly line. I do see your points and at times it seems some are true at times.
