There are some pretty creepy mythical creatures in The Philippines for sure. Hopefully I can make friends with a Nuno Sa Punso, and it can bless me with good luck, haha.

Bungisngis is pronounced as [bu-NGIS-ngis]. Remember, the digraph "ng" is considered one letter for the phoneme [ng] and it can be followed by the vowels [ah], [eh], [ih], [oh], and [ooh] to become "nga," "nge," "ngi," "ngo," and "ngu." That's a sound foreigners will have difficulty saying but it's fairly common in Austronesian languages, along with the glottal stop (a sudden halt in the flow of air in a vowel at the end of a word).

You should react to the newest Filipino anime series in netflix “TRESE” talks about filipino filipino mythical creatures.

It doesn’t talk about the filipino mythical creatures. It features them, but doesn’t talk about them. Unless you know about Filipino mythical creatures, Trese doesn’t explain what they are so they’re not talked about.

I grew up being scared in the dark because of the aswang/manananggal. My dad said we have elves at home who like to take shiny things but will give them back as long as you leave them be. Mangkukulam is a witch and they say there are really those who practice witchcraft. This is the first time I’m seeing this video. Thanks for reacting.

When I was a kid, my mom said there’s aswangs in the dark since I love to play basketball when there’s no more sun even though I didn’t live in the Philippines at that time, I was paranoid about it until I was 15 and now I’m over it but there are times I feel like there are shadows from the buildings I pass by whenever I’m heading back home late even with my older brother together

1 more info about the aswang is that the reason why they avoid eye contact is the reflection is upside down, like when looking at the back of the spoon you'll see thier reflection upside down and another one when you stand in the meddle of a crossroad and vending and looking at the road between your legs during 12 midnight till 3am you will see ghost other unseen creatures. micheal here from phillipines

Actually, one famous belief about Manananggal and Mambabarang is that they pass on their powers through a dark ball or something of sort. The manananggal would vomit out the dark ball and make their predecessor swallow it. It contains the power of the manananggal or Mambabarang.

one more about the duwende, when duwende fall inlove with someone the person will soon fall ill for days then die unless be treated by an albularyo but n9t just regular albularyo, he must have an apprentice that can astral project to know where the victim went, the body of the person been replace by a part of banana tree during the illness

For my point of view aswangs are equivalent to skin walkers in native amerindian folklure.
But also it's a bit dissapointing though they never join tikbalang and kapre in their list in Philippine mythical creatures.

Believe me or not aswang is real. I have that scary encounter back in the 90's on my cousin first baby. I heard there are aswang existing in visayan regions like mindanao and central visayas I don't hear any attacks here in our place anymore.

My friend lives in a subdivision in the border of Rizal and NCR. She works in a call center and goes to work at 2am. She was 3 months pregnant that time and she told us about a black duck on her way to work one early morning. She lives in a subdivision so it's really weird that there are ducks roaming at that time in such a place. She only passed by it. Days later, she lost her baby. I don't know if it's just coincidence but we also believe in Aswangs.
