There's a live show by Om there and it's like watching magic unfold and most of the crowd is just standing there and waiting like they cannot grasp that God's true spirit is being downloaded in that very moment through that stoner metal rhythm section as an example to all of how it's supposed to be done.
I love this version of cents. Since literally everything was wrong and he couldn’t get his guitar in tune he just made the most feedback and noise possible. Absolute legend.

Its a 2007 reissue. I bought one a few days ago off of guitar collector. By far my favorite guitar ive ever owned!! Sounds better than any ive had too!!

I feel like the "woop" noises and what not may have originated from surf rock but I feel like the noise/garage rock bands really started doing it the way they do it.

His staple is running the mic into a guitar amp. Here he seems to have only one amp so he either runs both guitar and the mic into it, or has the vocal distortion done with other ways. There also seems to be very little to none effects on the vocals here, so it might just be from yelling into the mic and the room mic. ;)
