Hi Mike. Can I ask where to source your screws from? Am restoring a Penn Yan and I need all new screws for the plan to ribs to replace what is currently there.
Back in the day we cut bungs out of the same plank that we were going to install the bungs in to , as the planks do very in color . then a darker plank would have darker bungs ..a lighter plank , lighter bungs
Those individual plugs are very tedious and time consuming and I see why owning a wooden boat does require regular maintenance after it has been completed
Loved that ending clip 😂. Good work, Mike!
Just has to be the best shop out there and I’m aware theirs a lot of good ones .
Greetings Mr Green thanks for the presentation about the latest news about the boats in your shop hello from southern Ontario Canada 🇨🇦
Great explanation Mike. I snapped mine out, dipped them in glue then tapped them home. Very time consuming. I like the strip method and time savings.
Excellent work Mr. Green!
Good information

Not sure where Mike gets his but I use Top Notch Fasteners out of Minnesota. Most boat restorers use Top Notch and I highly recommend them.
