I have been watching this channel since episode 3 when it popped up on my feed. I haven’t missed an episode yet. I had to go watch the first two episodes immediately had to find out more about this guy who bought land in the middle of nowhere moved too it with a tent and a chain saw. I haven’t been disappointed with a single episode yet. Keep up the great work and building unique items and structures. You are in the top 5 of my favorite channels on TH-cam. Love the show see ya next week
i am retired and pretty much doing what i want and yet when i watch your videos i catch myself thinking how lucky you are.........took me 62 years to figure it out. Thanks for sharing your entertaining life.
Ryan you need to build a outdoor kitchen and firebox to cook! All that firewood you have on your property it would make sense! Great job on the pew pew range, love it! ✌🏼❤️🙏🏼
Great video. Your joy truly is contagious. I’m retired these days and being able to wake up in the morning and ask yourself what do you want to do is a very freeing feeling. I know that TH-cam creator is your job but you still get the ask the same question. I guess we will see you on the rifle platform with you yoga mat doing downward dog or whatever. Everything looks great and thanks for sharing!
A roof above your rifle platform made out of your scrap canvas would be the cherry on top for your shooting addiction! A string of lights the entire way from the platform to the targets will make it a night range also! 😮😂😂😅😅
Reminded me of some of our Range working party days, once every couple of months we'd need to maintain the range, you knew those keen members would turn up and work, then the selfish members wouldn't show, but they still wanted to use the range, had a few ding dings, with selfish members turning up on working days but expecting to shoot, and moaning they couldn't. Good thing about being the only member of your range do what you want when you want. Good shooting.
Ryan, nice new driver. In my experience drivers are GREAT for star head screws, but NOT great with phillips head screws. The hammering tends to strip the phillps screw or the bit pretty quickly. Especially since you like to put things up and then take them down later, star head screws are amazing, because you can screw them in and out a bunch of time with no stripping. Def worth the extra couple dollars to get star headed screws
Ryan, my wife and I really enjoy your videos and have watched all of them. We live in the NW Lower Peninsula of Michigan and we love the UP. Have you given any thought to building a shooting bench (out of cedar; either milled or logs or a combination of both) for your rifle range? I've incorporated several of your ideas into some of the projects that I've built and would be interested in what you might come up with for a bench. Keep up the great stuff you put out!
You are accomplishing two things at once. You cleared a spot for your shooting range and you stock piled up some logs for future builds love the shooting range can’t get enough of the shooting whether you like it or not, you’re getting pretty good above average.
Ok bro... you are a brilliant...love the shooting platform concept..it gets you up over the tree stumps and allows you to shoot at a safer angle Well done, Sir...and I thank you for sharing a bit of your world
Just subscribed. Moved on a new homestead. Love the ideas you're putting out. Thank you. I'm trying to figure out how to make my own log lifter you showed on another video. Wish we could shoot in our backyards here in 🇨🇦
Hey Ryan, love watching your channel. Reminds me of the days when I was growing up as a kid down in Florida. Always fun in the woods!! I was thinking of an idea for a game to play on your shooting range when you have some friends out. How about a "Spin the wheel for a prize Shoot" game. You'd have to make up a spinner out of your lumber and attach it to the wooden wheel that is divided into a dozen spaces with numbers. Depending on which number the spinner lands on you would have to make those shots. Each person would spin then shoot. Who ever makes the most target hits, wins the round. The prize could be Ringworm money, etc. You would have to make up a set of rules or just have fun sooting! Have fun and keep up the good work... Ken from Florida
Let me say in today's world I'm certainly not a gun guy but you amaze me everytime. Love following your projects and how you pull them together. This video watching what I presume was a one man show has me in aww thinking of the camera set ups and editing to present us with a very enjoyable video. Again just amazing from all aspects. Kudos and thanks for including me a glimpse of the crazy world of Ryan😂😂
LMAO on the podcast remarks! And technology/sanity/power tools logic. I do love your humor. Also imptessed with the ballet footwork on the shooting-deck build. Throw in the chainsaw and we have great entertainment!!😂 👍🇨🇦😎🌲🌲
Another great video. I sure hope you record and show us building Tito's cabin when it happens. Also, I have shot 22 rifles every weekend for years at 100 yards... as of now you can sure out-shoot me, nice work.
Thanks for the video, happy memorial day. Just a suggestion, maybe you should make a overhang over the steps of the cabin to help with ice issues. Might just save you from another busted rib. Stay safe. Great shirt!
I wait each week for Ringworm. However the past 3 weeks I have skimmed through and closed the page. I totally say you do you and if shooting is your thing then do it. I will still be here to watch your other videos. :D
Nice range! I have a vision of about the same length range up the ravine at our cabin in the western Ozarks. Natural 20-25’ high backstop. I think I can choose a lane that doesn’t have anything bigger than about 8” to cut down. If I build up a berm to the level of our road, we should be shooting nearly flat up the ravine. Next trip, maybe!
Hey really enjoyed your video. My dad and I owe 24 acres of property and I went up in the woods and did the same thing. I was able to get out to 142 yards so very similar. I need to build some sort of platform benchfor it. Really impressive that you did all that work with a chainsaw. Pretty sweet!
Ryan, you should get a lumber/loggers crayon to keep in your tool belt. It will be much easier to use than your knife and easier to see than the notch in the bark. Also, the "cut and scooch" is known as "kerfing in" to woodworkers and timber framers.
I might have got the first comment a min ago. Ryan you should definitely keep shooting and part of this should be a gun channel!! I'd love to see more shooting content. You need an AR and a shotgun!!
clear out more for some foage plots and think about thinning other areas for timber and also plant some different kinds of trees - do an orchard or plant some blueberries
I started watching episode #80. I loved it so much that I went to episode #1 and kept watching till I saw them all. What a waste of my time. 🤣😂🤣😂 Just kidding..... can't wait to see the next episode each week. Keep strong and moving forward. Love ya Ryan. ✌️👍👍👊😎❤️ Wish I WAS there.
got worried for you when the vid wasn't avail when I got up! thought you may have fallen down again! Got to love spotty internet for upload speeds (at least that is my guess). Anyway, always fun to see what you've got going on.
Any more improvements to your range and Hickok45 is going to show up at Ringworm 😆 *Pro tip: kneeling on brass is about as painful as stepping on a Lego barefoot or frying bacon naked 😎 Yup! I’ve watched every one…some, multiple times 😁
Got to hang on to that Marlin model 60! I wished I would have gotten one when I was younger. You can't get a tube feed rifle like that anymore. The Ruger magazines tend to scratch the next bullet degrading accuracy. (nothing wrong with Rugers either but..) I have a Marlin 883 instead it's a bolt action 22wmr, still nice but I want them all! Nice range and 4 wheeler too! Wish we could be neighbors that rarely see each other, or maybe never! lol
Ryan, you are doing a great job as usual. I hate you because of your shooting range. I live in a town in Georgia where you cannot shoot any weapon within the city limits which means I cannot shoot my Benjamin Akela or my 22. It is also very hard to find a remote shooting range where you can shoot powder or air power weapons unless you owe the land. Please keep the videos coming brother.
In Bisley (A very large gun range in the UK) Victorian times. They used to shoot wild boar (Metal targets in the shape of a boar). a young boy used to be stood next to the target and would point to the lead impacts on the metal targets with a stick. The little boy would not take cover between shots!!
in the past you have asked for build recomendations. Have you considered a covered sawwmill station with an attached milled lumber storae area? Or covered fire wood stations scattered around your property? The largest by the fire pit. Have you thought about trying to sculpt wwith a chainsaw?
Ryan, you have such a great outlook of oddness and humor,I can dig it. Do you have a list of which Stihls you use? Just picked up a 271 Farmboss to replace an old one. Anywho chop, mill, crack jokes and have fun my Friend.
You should get a pcp air rifle the ammo is cheap and air is free. They adjusted air pressure adjustable hammer to dail in the perfect velocity for different weight slugs or pellets.
Ryan - Could you please provide the model 22 Pistol you use at your range. Seems like it is pretty nice. I want to but one and try it out. Also - what sights do have on it?
You could shoot a laser from point A to point B in a straight line and whatever it lights up. That's what you cut down. You get that one cut down out of the way you go back and shoot that laser again. If something's in the way of where you want it to end up, you cut that piece down and you keep going until you get to the distance you want.
Ya need to get a wood splitter and start making some fire wood for sale, to give away or for you. Wood be something to add because your not always busy. lol

Also been watching your videos since the beginning! Best channel I've seen, and definitely want to try this one day. Thank you for the videos!!!

I have watched all your videos and enjoy them but I would like to know when your going to build the outside kitchen be happy be safe 😊
Time to build outdoor kitchen with pizza oven, rock lined underground fire pit for luau ect.... Love your vids!

Having fun enjoying life ,what you are doing and showing is great keep it up as long as you can!!! Keep on keeping on 😂😂
I think is great you built your own shooting range. It the American way and our right!
You can’t build structures forever.
Have fun and be safe👍
I enjoy rifle and pistol shooting as well, but it takes a 45 minute drive for me to get to the range. Have fun doing what you do. Thank you.
Ryan, my wife and I really enjoy your videos and have watched all of them. We live in the NW Lower Peninsula of Michigan and we love the UP. I enjoy watching you figure out how to do something else cool, usually with wood, and if it happens to involve shooting targets then that’s ok.
Love how the shooting range is coming along love it Happy memorial weekend 🇺🇸🇺🇸❤️👍🙏🇺🇸
You are accomplishing two things at once. You cleared a spot for your shooting range and you stock piled up some logs for future builds love the shooting range can’t get enough of the shooting whether you like it or not, you’re getting pretty good above average.

Your chainsaw skills are fun to watch. Great shooting range!
I have a pistol range and a rifle range at my place rifle range go’s to 700 yards however targets every 100 yards
I've watched them all, it's part of my Saturday chill :)
Me too. Love my virtual visits to the worm!
Love how this range has come along! More great work!
Just subscribed. Moved on a new homestead. Love the ideas you're putting out. Thank you. I'm trying to figure out how to make my own log lifter you showed on another video. Wish we could shoot in our backyards here in 🇨🇦
Awesome content
Love all the hard work
I would definitely sleep on that thing

Thanks for sharing your little slice of Shangri-la!

I have watched all of your videos! 🤠. Love your shooting range. You inspired me to build my own. Just not with a chainsaw.
LMAO on the podcast remarks! And technology/sanity/power tools logic. I do love your humor. Also imptessed with the ballet footwork on the shooting-deck build. Throw in the chainsaw and we have great entertainment!!😂 👍🇨🇦😎🌲🌲
Forget sandbags, grab a small cheap set of bipods that attach to the sling swivel stud. Can keep ‘em on your gun and shoot anywhere.
Yes I have watched All your videos and love them all. Thank you for sharing your adventures.
As long as you make videos, we will support you. Love your videos, Man.
Yes I watched the platform build thinking nuts 🤣 but I would cause I, to good with heights😂, cool shooting range and love your enthusiasm xxx

Nice build man.
You are so God gifted, talented very very smart give yourself credit
i was lost but now im found.. cool stuff, thank you, i have some property and you have given me a great idea!
That's a beautiful piece of wood in the background gorgeous
Nothing wrong with this. Have fun. Your still building stuff. If you ever upgrade to a 10/22 or 15/22 it will be more enjoyable.
Never get get of the shooting videos, and I am one of those people who has watched every one of your videos ha!

That is a cool rifle lane, Ryan.

Morning Ringers ❤
I do like the rifle range and the guns. I've watched all your videos. It's all fun.

Yes I've watched you from day one 😮 and I look forward to every video it's coffee sit down watch then breakfast 👍💯💪
clear out more for some foage plots and think about thinning other areas for timber and also plant some different kinds of trees - do an orchard or plant some blueberries
Instead of Demolition Ranch you give us Construction Ranch. Range is looking nice.
Seems like all you missing in that paradise is a small pool to cool off on hot days
72 y.o. lady here. Watched all your videos. Saturday morning breakfast at the Worm.
I'm artistic I have a photographic memory I will teach you things like you teach me That's what life's about learning
Great into!! Love seeing your weekly video post!!

Print off some plastic Ringworm Marksman Badges!😎👍
What kind of 22lr rifle were you shooting ?? Looks nice.
Now I gotta build my own ringworm for the rifle range alone 😂
Great video! I’m one of those that has watched every video. Luv’em...
Good afternoon 👋😎👍
Any more improvements to your range and Hickok45 is going to show up at Ringworm 😆

Awesome place
I’ve watched all of the videos several times so yeah I’ve lost a few brain cells in that time but it was fun 😂

Shoot N see targets work great for rifles
It's turning into a guns & shooting show. I'm sure some people love that.
I have bet you don't put the log bed on out ??? That is something I love!!!

Nice holding wood on the first one u wedged over

Nice range
Hi great vid thanks, can you give the link for the scope you use on the .22? Thanks
Enjoy watching someone handle a chainsaw so well. And a Stihl to boot!
Stop apologizing for the pew pew
Better for a platform to have a few cracks so that water can run through and not collect on the top and rot out the boards sooner.
i have watched everyone and always cant wait till Saturdays
You should build a table on the platform then you could lay down or set up and shoot.
Foldable shooting bench that you can fold away when using the long range? :)
Never seen a platform that was not sloped before. Is that comon in your area?
I think we need a drone fly through of the shooting range. Just a thought.
Ryan -
Could you please provide the model 22 Pistol you use at your range.
Seems like it is pretty nice. I want to but one and try it out. Also - what sights do have on it?
love your tee-shirt, and enjoyed the video!!!

You get that one cut down out of the way you go back and shoot that laser again. If something's in the way of where you want it to end up, you cut that piece down and you keep going until you get to the distance you want.
how about paper targets with colored powder packs behind them so u can see them when they get hit?
Ya need to get a wood splitter and start making some fire wood for sale, to give away or for you. Wood be something to add because your not always busy. lol
Love this not many. Do they always say but months of waiting for something to happen you just make it happen love ring worm 🐛 rocks
With all that Birch bark you could build a canoe. I think that is what they used to use. Later
Shoot as much as you like. Hell, perhaps you find a new way to cut a tree down. I've maybe loosely participated in that with an M-16A2 many years ago.
I have watched all your videos. The one thing I have not seen with your camp is your restroom. Think next week when you do your video you can ?
What about putting a bench at the end of the deck you just made and turn it into a dual purpose shooting platform
Hope your having enough fun for the both of us, how do I send you a couple of bricks of 22?
Guns are sweet!
How many acres is the property ?
I have wasted so much of my life watching your videos. Keep 'em coming.
