Your straight stick for increasing bow force can be planned thinner to reduce the pull and make it more linear from start to finish. For arrows, you need a simple dowel jig. Who has more fun than Ryan! Salute from Canada.

I have property in the U.P. I don't know how far from you. I have ruined two point-well points trying to drive them into the ground. I have the same problem with rocks. I was able to dig a hole for an outhouse. I think I'm going to give it one more try by digging as far down as I can and remove any rocks I encounter. They seem to be closer to the surface. A well will be a game changer at my property. Love your channel.

Good luck on that sand point! I'm up in NE WI and we ended up having to hand dig 10 feet just to get past the rocks. After that, it was not too bad. Used a log tripod with a pulley to lift and slam a modified post pounder (added weight) and it took about 8 hours to go 28 feet, but we got water!

I thoroughly enjoyed this video. I love all of your buildings and crazy things that you build and YES I know you are not teaching us anything! I am a shooter too and have always wondered how you go about making your own long bow. I have never fetched an arrow, now I have see it done. Keep up the content and yes, I have watched all of them.

Go to a carpet store and get a long scrap, like 5 x 10. Double it over and it makes a great back stop for the arrows. Paper targets will work on that.

I'm consistently high and right on my compound bow lol. I need to dial in the sight more but I just aim low and left haha. My recurve is 35lb draw and I don't usually have a lot of time to aim it because I am still building up my strength but I do pretty well.

I wouldn't make an electric cord with two male ends. It won't "end" up well. Just hard wire the one end to the cabin with a male on the end for the gen connection. With the soil being as wet as it seems in your area if the plug ever came loose... Fried worm!

Hi Ryan, I was wondering if you are planning on building some more stuff? These guns and bow builds aren't my cup of tea. I'd like to see you build a shelter for the lumber you make with the chainsaw so it can dry and you don't have to tarp it. How about an outdoor kitchen that's covered and you can utilize the space for a lot of things besides cooking. Anyways thanks for all the interesting content!

It’s called entertainment…. If your on here watching RYAN your a fan of him and his craftsmanship on all things … never limit yourself to education from others who can do things you’ve never even tried …. I’m a fan … I like the person I’m watching … do you have any friends? Like really good friends or friend …. And you watch and listen …. Sometimes others can show you something different than what your interests are …. This is your life .. if your a cry baby and your little feelings get hurt because Ryan doesn’t run his channel the way you want … maybe you should start your own channel and move on …. The kids today are such cry babies … I want , I want , do this , do that , give me , give me ….. wow … I need a drink 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 you just learned how to make a bow and how to some fletching on arrows …. Come on dude … Com down

if i was going to make a bow buddy using cedar i would do it in cedar strips like they use for canoes . but first i would get a recurve bow barrow one if you dont have one and make a jig . then take your cedar strips while there still green and put them in the jig . let them dry in the jig and they will hold there form . kinda the same way as steaming the wood when its already dry . you can make the strips any thickness you want it wont really matter but im going to guess that there is a sweet spot for thickness as well i dont know i never made a bow . but i always wanted to . i always thought iron wood would be great as a bow . i also think you should build a tower for your water tanks and a small building for them to set in to keep the light off them . the higher you get them off the ground the more water pressure you get . i dont remember the lbs per ft but you get them 30 feet in the air and you should have pretty good water pressure . if you cant run a well if it dont work out . there is always water catchment off your roofs from rain . i do hope the well works out .

I call those rubber string grippers "jelly rolls" and they are the difference between shooting and not for me. A few years ago I smashed the tip of my right index finger with a 20lbs sledge. Got between the handle and a wedge while I was setting the wedge. Gravity was basically all it took with that bit of stupid. The bone at the very tip of my finger was in seven pieces.

I have property in northern Michigan about 45 minutes south of the bridge. I am thinking about putting in a Sandpoint well. It's all sand where I am, but most of the wells in the area are 110 feet deep. 😢. I think (Ryan) Ringworm has a better chance of hitting water.

Usually we used haybails for setting our targets on but since ur not in farm country they might be hard to find. that must be a compound bow at 35 our day they were maybe 20 lb bows for target practice.
