Oh wow... that's scary. Just had an encounter the other day, a floating cottage with a net at the center where you can sit and relax and a sea snake decided to get some air at the middle where we were. We panicked and jumped out of the net and I think the snake panicked too. but that was scary because it could've been in a defensive stance.

You sure you’re still alive? This might actually be heaven and you got a restart in life, this might not be the same world you see a portrait of yourself in.
I just came back home from Okinawa Japan. At two different beaches, I came across three sea snakes with different colors and they are quite big, like two to three times bigger than the sea snake in your video. One of these sea snakes is the same black and white color and it was a bit far from me. Another one is brown. It was quite chill and just passed under me. The tricky one is deep purple and it was super active like hunting fish. Fish around got scared then I got scared. I did try to keep calm and swim away. Luckily none of them followed me. I asked the lifeguards on shore about this. They said yes, there are many sea snakes and they don’t bite humans. But what if someone happens to be unlucky and gets bitten? They may have specific medicine or some measures to rescue people.😂
I feel the complete opposite of what the marine bios say....I feel like because you were tracking him in the water column in an aggressive stance she was let u know to back off because she viewed you as a predator
Im not sure if the snake would have perceived my stance as aggressive i was just floating in the water and watching the snake. But its definitely unknown. I think the reason it went for my mask even though other areas of my body were more easily assessable for it to bite was because of the reflection. A land snake would try and bite the body part closest to it without getting too close. This snake literally came in as close as it possibly could to bite the mask specifically
It has a little bit and definitely did for the few days following. They are everywhere here so you get used to them pretty quick again. But ill always have it in the back of my mine now these things can go 0-100 in an instant

That snake may have seen what you do with your gun.
