I really like your interpretation of this relatively unknown set by Schumann. I studied them myself longtime ago, inspired by the recording of Cyprien Katsaris. They are by far not easy. You omitted two variations, the polyphonic fuge-variation (number 5), and I can imagine you skipped that, and the A11 (Legato teneramente), and that one I miss a bit as it is worth including it. I like by the way the order you choose, and the attaca way of connecting them. You have a beautiful tone, and beautiful layered playing, which is really a pleasure to listen to. I also very much like the pure fact that a relatively unknown work is presented to the world. Thank you!
Your rewiew is right,and fine.Musical philology seems verry difficult,in this case...opus unfinished.Gregorio Nardi,20 years ago,published a cd intitled new Papillons,with 22 variations,from B allegretto.Imo this suite is moving,passionate,my be an obsession,as Phaedra's love.
Wonderful interpretation Julia ! I really like the choices of your tempi.. Not too fast and something very deep out of this planet. Your version is by far the best i heard yet.
Wunderbar.

Deeply playing and proper interpretation! The theme from Beethoven 7th symphony second movement, which is memorable and expressive!

👏👏👏🌺💐❤️
didn't Liszt make a piano transcription of the 7th symphony of beethoven, of which this beginning is a quote of the allegretto of that?
Das ist wirklich großartig! Danke für das tolle Video :) Werde das Werk auch mal auf den Übeplan setzten
❤
Sehr gut. Beim nächsten Konzert in meiner Nähe (und erweiterten Nähe) bin ich dabei.
Cool gespielt !👌
Vielen Dank!
You are underrated
I love your interpretation! Do You have more information about this work? Because I see that some pianists play just few variations.
와 진짜 미쳤다 ㅠㅠ
Where I can find the sheet music?

There is a Henle edition called Exercices (Beethoven-Etüden), at least it existed long time ago.
